Not as funny as people complaining there is a liar in office.

There is mounting evidence of trump being a compulsive lie teller.

and broken promises, which amounts to lieing.

I wonder if Trump just thinks no one will notice. That's nutz...

Thinkprogress and buzzfeed? I think I'm waiting to read my opinion on the Daily Caller or Brietbart.

what the article fails to mention is that Trump used "hand quotes" when he said "he didnt know" Bannon.

[snipped] Read the article and get back to me and perhaps some of the other references I posted.

This also might explain why Trump threw Bannon under the bus.

I keep waiting for something juicy to come out on Trump or one of his fellows. But at least we are getting a good class on how to sell panic on nothing. How to destroy something with nothing......but a dork on the 6:30 news that "could have been an actor but wound up here".

Trump said Bannon joined his campaign in the final days of the primary season.

He also said he'd known Bannon for many years (since 2011, evidently).

How are EITHER of these statements lies? They're not even conflicting statements.

I'm currently working with someone for the first time whom I have known for years. I could make the exact same set of statements and be completely truthful.

As far as I can see, President Trump has been very honest. His rare lapses have almost always been minor issues of flawed recollections as opposed to the massive life-altering lies of our last president.

The bottom line is, the Left in this country at some point is going to have to come to terms with the fact that they took a truly brutal and historic BEAT because America is historically a centrist to right-of-center country and they ran a truly awful candidate who's main claim to fame was being the decades-long enabler and defender of a proven serial sexual predator.

You want to talk about real liars, start with Bill Clinton's wife.

I supposed you have never told a lie, any kind of lie?

Who cares if trump told a lie. There are more important things, topics in the world to discuss than looking for imperfections in other people.

We had to put up with Obama, & Hillary's lies for eight years. Show me a President that has never told a lie?

Here is what Trump said:

"I like Steve, but you have to remember he was not involved in my campaign until very late,” Trump said. “I had already beaten all the senators and all the governors, and I didn’t know Steve. I’m my own strategist and it wasn’t like I was going to change strategies because I was facing crooked Hillary.”

I never condoned Obama, Hillary or any other politician for lying. Of course I've told a lie and I'm not sitting in the presidents office either.

I'm not a leftist. I'm A veteran and I worked for the GOP, I'm a proud libertarian and hold politicians to a higher standard like the one I swore an oath to when I was in the military.

Is that to much to ask?

Same thing.

You love to parse minutia up the wazzoo, but that stuff doesn't matter to me.

The term "know" can mean a lot of things. You know that.

I "know" of you. Yet, if you saw me on the street you'd have no idea who I was.

As i said above, I'm working with someone right now whom I've "known" casually for several years. But until very recently -- until we started working together, I did not know him personally.

President Trump is 70 years old and is one of the most uniquely well-connected people on the planet if not ever. I'm sure he "knows" tens of thousands of people he doesn't "know".

So for months we've been told by Trump-bots - He's not a politician.

Today "show me a politician who hasn't lied"

Lastly, he wasn't actually a politician when making the statements in the OP.

“I have known Steve and Kellyanne both for many years,”‘ Trump said at the time. “They are extremely capable, highly qualified people who love to win and know how to win.”

And...?

"Known" how?

Their names?

Their inner-most secrets?

Their blood type...?

How did President Trump know Bannon for many years?

I got the context without even questioning it.

It's very clear to me that Trump meant he knew of but did not know well...

As "lies" go, this ain't one on any level.

He's clearly a liar and has proven to be so time and time again. What's not funny are Trump supporters denying this. Doing so is embracing ignorance to the highest power.

Everyone lies, no one is perfect but all Trump does is lie and that's why he's a pathological liar so put politics aside and embrace the reality of the situation.

Oh please, Trump has been a pathological liar long before November 8th. He's not a politician, he's a con man who lied his ass off to get into the White House.
