Political campaigning has always been dirty business in America. Between americans . We've had duels before over politics, between americans.

*sigh*

Pretend a president you HATE, or at least don't support, had all this evidence against him and then tell me it's nothing. Just do it. Really make an effort. You will see. Pretend it was Obama with potential Russian coordination and ties to money laundering Russian Oligarchs and a dossier like Steele put out on him - what would you do with that??? And that same dossier is being proved true bit by bit. It's only a matter of time before we learn the Kompromat. Imagine a criminal and counter intelligence investigation happening against Obama while he's busy ramming the ACA through, and getting a SOCTUS in place for decades to come, one you also hated.

If you can, that is, make the effort. Let it sink in...all of it. Perhaps you will see that the evidence is considerable then, the smoke thick, and the fire surely smoldering underneath...

- AB

*cough cough* (darn smoke)

Why do i have to pretend?

Makes one wonder doesn't it.

You have to pretend that is a crime due to the fact that Obama was President of the United States at the time and legally within his rights to discuss what might happen after his re-election, assuming he was still in the White House.

IF this was pre=President Obama, before he'd been sworn in to office, then you'd have an argument.

As it stands, this one little LEGAL incident compared to the massive pile of evidence for criminal and counter intelligence investigations to be LEGALLY happening against Trump's campaign associates, cabinet members and possibly Trump himself is simply overwhelming. You stand before a Mt. Everest of evidence against Trump & Co. and are arguing that an imaginary molehill of your invention is equivalent.

Hmmm. Try again.

Haha Please where is this massive amount of evidence? Because even Washington Post admitted nothing has been found and yet at the same time claim this is the clearest evidence yet of collusion.

And "Only in DC does a mountain of evidence not give reason to believe a crime was committed".

I'm sure you can give me a ton of examples of this quote as well. I think these statements may cancel each other out.

This is the stupidest post where all common sense goes out the window because of your cult like following for the GOP.

Carter Page was caught giving information to Russian spies (one of which was arrested by the FBI). This act alone is more than enough to prove probable cause to issue the FISA warrant.

You right wingers are f'ing stupid as F with this kind of garbage.

FBI obtained FISA warrant to monitor Trump adviser Carter Page

And the evidence just keeps on mounting up.

The FBI obtained a secret court order last summer to monitor the communications of an adviser to presidential candidate Donald Trump, part of an investigation into possible links between Russia and the campaign, law enforcement and other U.S. officials said.

Looks like it aint Secret no more. The cat's out of the bag.

This is the clearest evidence so far that the FBI had reason to believe during the 2016 presidential campaign that a Trump campaign adviser was in touch with Russian agents. Such contacts are now at the center of an investigation into whether the campaign coordinated with the Russian government to swing the election in Trump’s favor.

Lol this is the clearest evidence so far? This still mounts up to a whole amount of nothing. Except on the flip side of this coin proving beyond a reasonable doubt that the Clinton Campaign who had the backing of Obama who in return Spied on Political Opponents associated with the Trump Campaign.

Page has not been accused of any crimes, and it is unclear whether the Justice Department might later seek charges against him or others in connection with Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential election. The counterintelligence investigation into Russian efforts to influence U.S. elections began in July, officials have said. Most such investigations don’t result in criminal charges.

Weird how he hasn't been accused of any crimes and yet they had to go through all of the trouble of getting a Fisa Warrant.

The officials spoke about the court order on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss details of a counterintelligence probe.

I wonder if these were the same officials gave the Media Mike Flynn's name? Because you know you aint allowed to "officially" violate a American citizens right to privacy.

Comey declined to comment during the hearing about any individuals, including Page, who worked in Moscow for Merrill Lynch a decade ago and who has said he invested in Russian energy giant Gazprom. In a letter to Comey in September, Page had said he had sold his Gazprom investment.

Lol his only crime was working in Moscow 10 years ago making money living a normal life. Nothing to see hear folks except the Democrats itching about losing a Election.

Since the 90-day warrant was first issued, it has been renewed more than once by the FISA court, the officials said.

Because once they started realizing that Trump could actually win this thing they were desperate for some evidence. Because the evidence against Hillary was overwhelming negative that she lied, erased with a Cloth made of Bleachbit, sent, and received Top Secret Classified Intel, and never handed over requested information.

A former Trump campaign adviser said Page submitted policy memos to the campaign and several times asked to be given a meeting with Trump, though his request was never granted. “He was one of the more active ones, in terms of being in touch,” the adviser said.

So they obtained a Fisa Warrant for a guy who never even met Trump. Epic Fail.

Your understanding of the law is shockingly small and to be honest, it's people like you and your ignorance that fuels the right wing.

FYI - There is a massive difference between charging someone with a crime and having enough information to issue a warrant. One you go to court on and one allows you to dig deeper into an issue. Know your law before you spew your stupidity on this garbage thread.

Raise enough trouble to force a resignation.
Trump would not allow himself to be the first president actually thrown out of office.

Sorry but that's not a correct analysis of an appeal to authority.

The FBI has actual authority in this case. It's not inferred.

The list Joshua provided contained known data on the argument.
Nothing was exaggerated and there was no appeal.
