THERE IS NOT MUCH COMMON AMONG THE THREE, BUT COULD THE NEW WORLD ORDER FORCE THE THREE INTO SOME KIND OF ARRANGEMENT.

RUSSIA HAS PROPOSED THE COMBINATION BUT CHINA AND INDIA REJECTED IT AS FOR NOW ,BUT TENSION ARE COOLING AND THERE IS AN EVER INCREASING TRADE AND BILATERAL RELATION BETWEEN THE TWO.

COULD WE SEE SOME KIND OF NEW COUNTER FORCE

pure fantacy analysis

Combined power

Russia- 8000+ warheads, 200+ICBM , High Tech weapons. As a matter of fact I think Su-37 "Berkut" could easily counter the F-22. Plasma technology if it works(? not sure about energy required to make it work)
is actually a much more efficient way to mask ur presence.

China- 2 million strong army , 3000+ aircrafts(?) , and u know what anti satellite warfare (they have been working on it for a long time).

India- 1+ million strong army(with war experience), strong IT warfare knowledge, even have a strong presence in guidence , avionics and radar .

So u see a strong opposition to US .

Can U predict the Outcome??

Russia India Alliance is Possible
Russia China Alliance will have a bit of Problem

but China India Alliance is Impossible in the upcoming years here are the reasons
1 India china has Disputes over the Northern Part of India both claiming it to be their territory
2 China doesn’t recognize Sikim to be a part of India and there has been a lot of controversy regarding it during the last visit of Indian PM to China
3 China has been trying to spread Maoist revolution in India ...and there has been a lot of casualties and ongoing events in the Indian State of West Bengal, Bihar and Assam
4 China is always friendly with Pakistan and helps it in all possible way to counter India
5 China is helping the terrorist activities in North East India
6 India has sheltered Dalai Lama which indirect gives a hint that India is against China in case of Tibet
7 Indian Ex Defense Minister George Fernandez and claimed China to be India's main enemy state after much political pressure he was force to change his word and called china to be India's "main Potential Enemy"
8 India and china shares a lot of undeclared fight in their borders
9 the two countries were in war just a few years ago
10 most Importantly the Indian and Chinese public are against each other.......you can find a reflection of the same if you just browse through this website and look at the topics concerning India and China

India china Alliance is impossible and so India China Russia Alliance is impossible too

But I thought China has nothing to do with Maoist. If I am not mistaken there is some trouble in a small country in the Himalaya's ,Nepal and the King there has just assumed full power.
Nepal has a maoist movement but has not got support from China , China says they will look the other way. hence I don't think they are supporting Maoist, they are too busy with the economy.

Yes, I agree sheltering Dali lama might prevent any colaberation, but if any of the two are threatened by the US they will probabily form alliance .

Maoists are chinese sponsered....known fact...the recent problem in nepal is because of the a psychotic monarch..Now he's incurred the wrath of the maoists, and the democratic world too..(US, India,UK)..

EDIT: as for the views on this thread..just look at my signature..its been there since the day I joined ATS..
So my opinions on this topic are self-explanatory...

I've also discussed it in the past. It is actually very important that Russia, China and India do form this alliance, and getting Iran in it, is even better. Otherwise, the NWO is simply too powerful, with a combined economy of $15-20 trillion and a military spending of $600-1000 billion.

By the way, most of the Chinese 3000+ airforce, is full of obsolete junk.

indigo_child, even "obsolete junk", as you put it, can still be a threat, especially in the right hands. I wouldn't slaight China too much, even now, as they are only just developing, they post a significant threat to its neighbours. Ever heard of the phrase, "best leave the sleeping giant sleeping". Well, something like that anyway.

Not sure if anyone has heard of Joel Skousen. I found a report by him mentioning the big predator nations (Russia, China, etc.) and how they pose a threat. Its an interesting report and gives you a new perspective on World events I reckon. The link is: www.joelskousen.com...

China

China is not in any way a "sleeping giant".....
what are the plus points of china ?
1 growing economy
2 man power

apart from this they are technically poor and depend on Russia from most of their higher war technologies

The fact is that ...I think ....China is Over estimated nowadays...mainly because there is a Rising Anti American sentiment which make the anti Americans choose China to be their weapon against the US empire...
but all forget that their growing Economy is to a large extent dependent on US and Western Economy and so in case of a War(with US) when they will face sanctions from the US and the west(the West will prefer US over China) and their Economy will have nothing to offer …other than Chinese noodles

man power is not a factor in today's war...specially when you have opponents like US.....future wars will be fought from air and space

the main drawback of China is their technical Weakness (the copy paste technology doesn’t work when it comes to war technology practically they are totally dependent on Russia for their weapons...even India has better indigenous technology compared to China .....A country that cant even develop a competent war technology has no chances of being superpower.

If it came to war between the US and all those countries there is little option besides nuclear weapons and the US and Russia have enough to wipe everyone in those countries out.

we all lose in the nuclear winter that would follow

Care to explain?

Anyway, China is madly overestimated these days and in that region there is ~absolutely no way that only 2 of the given countries could work together yet alone 3. Someone's pipe dream... Hypothetically if the 3 would get together and face the U.S. in their current state there would be no option but nuclear war. Sure, our Airforce would decimate theirs but their ground power is absolutely overwhelming as a single but if you put the 3 together there is no option but tactical nukes or an all out nuclear war probably initiated but the U.S. from failed peace talks and an attempt to neutralize the threat in a first strike.

All three will work more or less together because of MAD. It is in the best interests of ALL three to do so. They are not going to war over Iran, North Korea, Taiwan, or any other damn thing. To do so would be suicide. Take Iran for instance. If we invade they will grumble and talk crap all the while it would have been worked out IN ADVANCE how the invasion would benefit ALL THREE. Why the hell would they go to a war that would devastate the planet when they can play their role and wind up getting their Oil for 40$ a barrel instead of 50$ and it not cost them a thing? This is just an example not a prediction.

This whole China vrs USA vrs Russia vrs etc is just a joke. The superpowers will NEVER go to war.

And that IS a prediction

I wouldn't undermine the potential of Technological Advancements by China and India. Both countries are making great strides in improving their status just by the sheer number of engineering students graduating every year. I read an article a few years ago, which indicated that besides reverse engineering practices the two have potential to pass the United States in innovativeness with the extra benefit an untapped work force. This wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing for the United States in the long run due to the fact it would call for major improvements and new practices. Similar to say Japan and the Automobile industry.

As to the topic, I don't foresee physical war between any of the Tier 1 countries mainly for the reason Globalization has countries too entwined. Also, I think they all have a McDonalds.

I agree swintersVT. I have never said China poses a significant threat to the West, but give it time and they will. Even at this moment, they do pose a threat, even if it is a small one. You can't tell me that at least China and Russia won't set up a short-term alliance to keep the US off their backs, it is in both their interests, if not other countries interest to set up alliances against US World domination. Don't get me wrong, I don't foresee (sp) any war, but I wouldn't be surprised if countries like Russia, China and India did set up an alliance.

BTW, in an hypothetical war between the US and China alone, although the US will win the initial battle, it would be at great loss to your own nation, men and equipment ie planes, etc. Don't under estimate your enemy, ever! Remember Vietnam

China is probably going to be powerful enough by itself in the next 20-40 years. I don't see why they would want to start a war though. Russia isn't likely to be much of a superpower again since the rest of the soviet states have broken away from it. India could be powerful one day too but currently they are the poorest of the lot per capita, although that could change. Any alliance would be formidable but what would the common goals of any alliance be?

I highly doubt it.

First India has been on good terms with the U.S. Technologically, militarily and diplomatically they have been exchanging information and trying to become friends.

Second India and China, let us just say they don't get along so well. And Russia is just getting weaker and weaker by the minute.

So if there is anything it would be definitely India vs. China, since both have been competing to become the next superpower.
