Oh, well. If that's what he says, it's good enough for me. I'm sure that the judge who granted the warrant was in Obama's pocket. Critical of the Obama administration." When?

Does it matter when?
As long as he was sick and tired, what difference does it make?

Page had been dealing directly with Russians. Russian spies. As a stooge, yes. Indeed.

If so proven, but yet he had no direct meetings with Trump?

He didn't? Trump said he was one of his foreign policy advisors. Didn't he? Hell of an advisor that you never met. Or was Trump just shooting off his mouth. Again.

March, 2016:

Another private-sector Trump adviser is Carter Page, a former investment banker and global energy consultant who graduated from the Naval Academy, according to his online biography. In discursive online blog postings about foreign policy that invoke the likes of Kanye West, Oprah Winfrey and Rhonda Byrne's self-help bestseller "The Secret," Page has blamed the U.S. for "misguided and provocative actions" toward Russia — notable in light of Trump's friendly words for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Article does not quote Trump.
As he says, lying media, so dishonest?

In any case, I am sure the FBI would have no
problem proving that up when and if.

Trump did not name Page as one of his advisors? Are you sure? The title of your OP would seem to indicate so.

Your link backtracked to WaPo on a page a year ago.

No direct link to Trump.
A whole year ago, and still no actionable intel, no evidence.

Well hey, keep your arms crossed, as always.

Yes. I know. A year ago it was known that Page (and Trump) seemed to have an affinity for Putin.

Are you implying that Trump did not name Page as an advisor? That the Washington Post lied about the interview with Trump?

A whole year ago, and still no actionable intel, no evidence.
You know this, how? Of course, an unwitting stooge doesn't have to commit a crime himself in order to facilitate one. Isn't that what the investigation(s) are about? To find out what Russia did and who they may have used in the process?

Again, I find it intriguing. What with Nunes backing off so sudden like.

So after nearly a year since Obama started spying on the Trump campaign there is still nothing to prop up the Russian collusion narrative. Must be a world record length of time to run a story (every day) in the media with no evidence despite a year-long investigation.

You're in the FBI, working on the investigation?
You may have just broken the law.

Oh, maybe in the midst of all the leaks by some miracle no damning information gathered from spying has been leaked...
Or...there is nothing at all to leak.

I would expect page to have contact with Russians since his job with Council on Foreign Relations. He specialized in Caspian Sea region and the economic development in former Soviet states. So im not surprised he talked to them question becomes what did he say.

Well, know we know of two leaks. Which show that:

1) Flynn lied.
2) There was reason for a judge to grant a FISA warrant on Page.

1) Yes, but there is no crime in lying to Pence about the content of a meeting. There are no charges against Flynn despite the information gleaned from spying on him.
2) A FISA warrant can be issued with no suggestion of a crime.

1) Right. It's cool if the National Security Advisor lies to the VP. No problem.

2) Did I imply that Page committed a crime?

It's not cool, but nothing major given the nature of the witch hunt at the time. I can see how Flynn would have made the call to say he didn't discuss sanctions, especially if it was, as it appears, just a passing comment with no level of negotiation.

He made a pretty harmless error, but nothing to warrant the hysteria.

It seems there's nothing to this Russian collusion nonsense, but so many are now so invested in their story.

No, he shouldn't have. If all politicians who lied in this way had to resign then there would be no politicians.
More fool Trump for getting rid of him. He may have avoided the ridiculous mistake in striking Syria.

You actually need to present evidence for judge to issue a warrant. They have to have something they can show to the judge to convince him of possible wrong doing. Meaning evidence exists it just may not be strong enough to prosecute.

You do not need evidence of a crime for FISA warrant.
