America became a superpower when we won wars. Because Congress, the President and every citizen did their part. Even very high taxes. Those people are dead and so is the mystical superpower fantasy. All it takes is one nuclear bomb.

Sit in our arses and let every darn refugees invade our nation, used tax payer dollars to support illegals?

Let our nation be changed by those that doesn't give two rats arses about what US stands for?

Or US should not stand for anything.

We are a superpower we want it or not, we have the arsenals to prove that and a record.

STOP invading sovereign nations and causing people to flee. Let sovereign nations fight their civil wars and to winner goes the spoils. Do you realize that worrying about immigrants and people on welfare only distracts you from the truth about the way your monetary system actually functions?.

Your monetary system and the way it creates money (debt) requires that many people receiving the "fake funds" do nothing for those funds and are as wasteful as they could possibly be to justify creating more debt.

The first in line to receive those fake funds are your government and the corporations and the military and NASA and other things like that, immigrants and welfare Momma's are last in line to receive the fake funding created from nothing, and they get nothing compared to the people who would have you blame them.

People are too impressionable and have way too much trust in the powers that be which exploit them and destroy them.

You are born into debt and will die in deeper debt than you began with.

It is a never-ending cycle of ignorance and stupidity and wastefullness....

And yeah!, I know my rant wasn't completely on topic, but it has a lot to do with everything and nobody seems to notice. And the "Dumb-Ass in Charge" even mentioned how he is the master of debt in one of those rants he referred to as a "campaign speech", but still, nobody heard what he said...

There is a theory that debt saves the American people money. I don't understand it, but it is one of the theories started with Viet Nam war. All wars have been on the credit card since ww2. No one wants to raise taxes to war levels. So I guess it saves rich people money.

We fought wars... that has been an ongoing thing since the time of the neanderthal and probably earlier... and it will still be occurring long after this form of civilization has died out.

eta: yes if we were bombed it would be an act of war... Syria will not declare war because they have their own problems at home, Russia will not declare war because they do not have the ability to project power across the globe... its not nice, it is not fair but that is the way the world works.

I must say I feel a little bit sorry for you doom porn trumpeters. The world will continue to turn and life will go on...it's not all going to screech to a halt because Assad was held accountable for his heinous act. The threat remains terrorism, whether radical Islam or radical alt-right. It's when groups like those get their hands on weapons of mass destruction that you should worry. No legitimate sovereign power is going to start a nuclear war because of the potential recipricocity x 10. The aforementioned psychotic groups is what you should be worrying about. Oh, and unless you're actually engaged in fighting to dismantle such groups, you really should go about living your life...wouldn't you rather fully live and enjoy the little bit of remaining time some of you think you have left? I fully expect to live and enjoy life to the age of 105...46 years to go!

Hear hear! Look in the mirror American citizen, what you see is what has brought us to this point where I for one do not recognize the USA from what it once was, or supposed to be. We created a political class with our apathy and unwillingness to understand what true freedom entails.
It takes some real work to vote in the correct people to represent our view, it is up to the individual to do the dirty work and eliminate those who serve themselves over their constituency. However not enough do this with due diligence and remain ignorant while we churn out generation after generation of indoctrinated minds and do absolutely nothing to stop the cycle.
Perhaps we like it this way. I don't but I think I am in a minority in my thinking as I live, work and breathe with my fellow United States of America citizens.
