Time flies

The cup sits empty for a mouth so large

The brim full of flavor

it washes it's hands

but neglects it's feet

walking all over

nothing but a future for more later

filling and washing

a mouth so large

for one so small

It isn't about who is hungry

in ghost of the mind

but a future thirst

reaching with a thousand eyes

presently blind

and the mind flies

off again to right now

of any responsibility

too weak to lift a cup

but too strong to resist it's pull

how have they been clipped

as desire marches on
