So I haven't followed news for like three days and all of a sudden missiles are being launched at other countries?

What the hell, I thought Trump was supposed to be a peace keeper, but here he is throwing gasoline on a fire that the United States started in the first place. Not to mention that whole making progress with Russia - the nuclear power house of the world- is being shot to hell, for what?

Can someone explain this to me because it rather seems out of no where to me.

If you go back through some of the previous threads I'm sure you will find a lot of answer to the questions you seek.

Russia and Syria and the US had a ban on CHEMICAL WEAPONS. Syria broke the ban and Russia did nothing about it. Barry Obama peed his panties and so did Kim Ill, while Hillary peed her jock strap, all wondering if Trump was going to Tomahawk them too. But as it turns out, this is all about stopping chemical weapons.

There are several threads on it , isn't that what they're for.

If by stopping chemical weapons you mean diverting attention from Trump's ballooning political problems. Trump was totally against getting involved in Syria --- even after seeing 'beautiful babies' bombed and gassed on several occasions. Remember when it happened during Obama's presidency? And Obama went to Congress (Republican Congress) for approval to strike and they said no?? Trump came out and said no way. Now all of a sudden a 180. How convenient. And the Sarin was on the ground. It wasn't air dropped.

No, no it's not what the other threads are for. ATS is where people type in whatever thing crosses their mind and they turn it into a thread. ESPECIALLY important to do when there are over a thousand replies to just one thread discussing the topic on your mind.

How could one get flags and stars and hugs and stuff if they just posted in an existing thread with everbody else?

The 'look at me' threads are getting old. I see a couple on the front page daily.

Assad used chemical weapons in an attack, and the president saw footage from it and between that and knowing that Assad had crossed a line, he decided to strike swiftly and took out the airbase from which the chemical weapons had been deployed with Tomahawk missiles, although he did warn the Russians ahead of time.

I certainly hope you don't think I'm simply asking for attention - I don't have enough time to go over all of these other threads.

All I know is that two wrongs never make a right.

I'm more for peace.. If there must be violence, let it be precise. A sniper to the head of a corrupt leader is better than most ways in which we act currently.

I agree with peace and keeping our regime change activities to a minimal.

The comment wasn't so much about you but several others that have been doing it lately. I realize your post count is not what would lead a person to believe you're seeking attention.

It is bad form to make a topic that is already being widely discussed though. It fragments the topic and makes the site look sloppy.

Assad gassed babies a few days ago.

Conventions since WWI makes Assad guilty of using banned chemical weapon on civilian population.

He signed a treaty in 2013 to dispose of his chemical weapons and banning them from his arsenal. This ends any diplomacy to respond only leaving force to remove his currently known capability, which is the air base used to deploy the deadly banned weapon with the storage facilities there.

Simple.

Russia's defense of the baby killer from that day forward makes them baby killer lovers.
Russia even surveilled with drones the hospital that the Sarin Gas victims were taken to, then the hospital was attacked by air power and blown up. Russia is looking very guilty.

Was that kool aid commercial your attempt to convey your approval of baby killing war crimers Assad and Russia?

That was very effective, I got it right away.

So by some twisted equivalency test you made up, you are in support of Assad's use of Sarin gas and Russia's involvement in covering for him. You are such a clear poster, your love for powers that can make babies suffer by use of Sarin Gas is profound.

Let Me fill You in 'thumbnail sketch style'...

Ready?

Herr Drumpf caught some old footage of some theatrical work done by C Class actors on Twitter™ and then read 17 'negative posts' and the blood ran to His melon. All the while those from the farthest RIGHT have jumped ship and Hilary Clinton and John McCain were both seen hobbling about w/erections.. Dick Cheney also exhibited weird excitement levels that haven't been seen since He made MILLIONS in the Iraq scheme...

If Drumpf isn't gone by Sept. when I visit Scotland, I'm going to go to some casino and bet that He is gone by the end of the year...
