Leviathan - the king of pride

Leviathan is a spiritual creature and can be a principality
There are multiple demons with this name, they are not principalities and they like to live in people. This spirit can be found in men and women and likes to coil itself in the stomach area of the body.

This is a ruling spirit, jezebel is under leviathan’s rule and not the other way round.
This spirit operates by the divide and conquer rule. It divides and will divide whatever it can, churches, Christian missions, it will try and destroy any Christian work. It will divide marriages and stop people from drawing near to God.

It will stop revivals by joining them if it cannot stop the momentum of what the Holy Spirit is doing. Then you start to have all this mixture coming into the meetings. It sits in a holy place and he will block everything, reading your Bible, you worshipping and praising God ( eg you can be singing to the Lord but you find you cannot enter into the intimacy of worship). He will cause you to sleep in a holy environment.

This spirit is deadly and it hates the deliverance ministry. Leviathan is a blocking spirit. It is blocking many people from receiving deliverance. This is one spirit that deliverance ministers find they can’t get through, that pride. If you are getting delivered and you have been prayed for, prayed for, prayed for and prayed for. Know that every prayer works but the gates are not broken yet. The moment the gates are broken you are getting deliverance.

I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18
Picture in your mind the medieval castles with the large gates and the army of men holding this massive log and they are ramming it against the gates. Every time they put pressure on the gates it is slowly giving way and weakening in the process until it eventually gives way.
Sometimes the Lord has to bring us to a right place for that breakthrough can come. God appoints what’s coming. Leviathan can be a gate keeper to stop everything else. Many people who have been taken out of deliverance ministry, were taken out by Leviathan.
The Lord dedicated a whole chapter in Job to this spirit, it is a big spirit and something not to be trifled with or dealt lightly. It does not matter if you are in the 5 fold ministry, a worship leader or hold a leadership role , if you give in to pride you will come under the grip of Leviathan. Always keep a humble heart before the Lord and he will lead you away from being ensnared by its evil clutches.

The concordance defines Leviathan as a serpent, an animal that is twisted, he is also called the constellation of the dragon and Orion. He is a king, the king of pride. Pride represents all underlining foundations of sin. This is a lifelong battle that we all have to watch out for. We all have to watch out for pride.

Leviathan can be a principality, he stands out as one of the most wicked, evil, devils. The Lord uses animal pictures to describe demons like dogs, goats, bats, frogs, scorpions when it comes to Leviathan there is no animal on earth that can describe it. God calls him a dragon
Isaiah 27:1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

Psalm 74: 13 – 14 Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
The sea is often a symbol of people/multitudes. Leviathan is the piercing serpent, he is also in the spirit realm of the sea, he is known in Africa as the water spirit/ sea monster.

Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

4. Evil imaginations
5. Tale bearing
6. False witness
7. Sowing discord
These characteristics can be interchangeable as this spirit has 7 heads.
This demon is capable of causing much trouble in the church, causing division and sowing discord among the brethren. His is the dragon of the water, water spirits and inspires mythical legend. Some believe Leviathan was the chief demon worshipped in Atlantis which was destroyed by God in judgement. One of the chief jobs of Leviathan is blocking deliverance.

Job 41.
Verse 3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee? Leviathan uses his words to flatter your ego and to manipulate you.

Supplications – he will hinder your prayers, have you noticed proud people don’t have a sense that they need prayer. And the Lord clearly says in James that He resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Keep a humble heart before the Lord.

Verse 4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?
This spirit won’t let cooperation happen. It wants to split things up, he breaks unity.

Verse 5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
Leviathan is not a pet! You cannot use ordinary weapons to deal with him. You cannot even bind it in your own strength, sometimes two or three people in agreement are needed to bind that spirit.

Verse 6 Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
Anyone with this spirit is not a true companion!

Verse 7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?
This spirit only comes out with prayer and fasting.

Verse 10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
Have you noticed the pride in some people? You are facing Leviathan the spirit of pride.

Verse 11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.
He thinks he has the right to everything, pride, haughtiness

Verse 15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
Leviathans pride is in his scales, this could be other demons. Use the sword of the spirit (word of God) to caste out the spirits who are its scales. The sword of the Lord is to scrape it. When you talk to people with pride like that, it doesn’t get through. When you remove the scales on a fish they are already weak, it’s the same with Leviathan. There could be many, many demons so you have to scrape those scales. Some of those demons are rejection, lust, hurt, insecurity, shame, self-righteousness, religious demons. Leviathans strength can be stripped by getting rid of the demons that shield him.

Verse 16 One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
You cannot tell much to people who have this spirit. When you discover it in a person you are talking to start binding their mind in order to get through. You might meet a prideful person at work who just doesn’t want to help you because of pride, so bind it.

Verse 18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
Leviathan stirs up trouble

Verse 19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
Wherever there is pride, there is contention and strife.

Verse 20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.
He will cause things to just boil. There are people who can come into a room and the temperature goes up 1000’C instantly. People will become agitated because of Leviathan.

Verse 21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
Breath represents spirits, tongue causes trouble, we need to purge our lips.

Verse 22 In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.
We have to break the curse of stubbornness. Acts 7 Stephen before he was stoned rebuked the Pharisees for their stubbornness and stiff neck pride. Stubbornness is not just a sin but it is an iniquity that comes down a family line. To break this curse of iniquity lay your hands upon the person and break the curse of stubbornness, command the spirits on the neck to loosen themselves and then pray that the yoke of Jesus would come upon them that really humbles Leviathan.

Verse 23 The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
Characteristics of a Leviathan spirit, they are unyielding, unbending and set in their ways.

Verse 24 His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.
Hardness of heart – causes divorces, problems in marriages, wicked heart of unbelief, lack of spiritual perceptions, lack of repentance and godly sorrow, backsliding, kill spiritual growth. We need to break the curse of a heart like a stone and cast out the spirit of a heart of unbelief.

Verse 25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
People with this spirit can be like monsters that even strong people can be afraid.

Verse 26 to 29 The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood. The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble. Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
Natural weapons are useless against Leviathan.

Verse 30 Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.
Wherever Leviathan goes he leaves a trail. Pride always leaves a trail hurts, pain, broken marriages and so on.

Verse 31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
Pride stirs up things, it causes mental dejection, some people are totally restless. Lay hands upon them and pray Lord I place upon them the cloak of humility

Psalm 119:21 Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.
Leviathan can attack and gain entry into people’s lives through generational curses coming down the family line.

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
Leviathan works with destruction. This spirit has divided many churches and has been the main cause of many church splits. This spirit is known to hinder genuine spiritual growth in believers, causes lack of concentration in prayer and studying the word, many times it will promote weariness and sleepiness.
In the spirit Leviathan is seen as this huge serpent coiled up in the abdominal of the victim. It causes melancholia, mental dejection, depression, mourning, gloominess, mental dejection, this mental state are the by-products of this spirit’s activity.

Danial 5:20 But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:
Leviathan is called the key to the mind. The domination of Leviathan affects the emotions and thoughts, he affects gifting’s. He seems to be in control of addictions and compulsive activity.
Leviathan partners a lot with Jezebel and she always works under him, never the other way round. Leviathan is especially dangerous for leaders and leader types.

When Leviathan is over a church it is like a wet blanket, suffocating. One of its main jobs is to hinder deliverance ministers, he keeps the anointing. You can pray over some people in deliverance and nothing happens. People don’t feel like ministering deliverance, that’s Leviathan’s influence, others don’t feel they need deliverance. The body of Christ is in like a spiritual kindergarten because of Leviathan’s handiwork. He stops spiritual growth and he hinders. Some people discern Leviathan as a sort of cover over their church, sometimes they sense a heavy smoke that stops the breathing, in the spirit something is suffocating the atmosphere and the glory of God. If you experience sleepiness during the service, difficulty in reading your Bible, daily devotions, praying whether in church or private Leviathan might be at work.

Sometimes Leviathan is spiritually discerned as a black slug or snail. He puts people in prison with no liberty. You can see people moving in the Holy Spirit and you are not moving in the Holy Spirit. Leviathan rules over the Laodicea church in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 3: 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Leviathan makes people think that wealth and good works equals holiness

Remedy for Leviathan
1. James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
2. Confess the pride you know of to the Lord that you see in yourself and in your family line.
3. Once you have cleansed yourself of your sins by confession close those doors that open that sense of pride. Ask Jesus to make sure the door is closed in your life.
4. Then you break the curse of stubbornness and pride.
5. Then Bind the strongman Leviathan, scrape his scales with the sword of the Lord (His word) as the Holy Spirit leads you. Go through Job 41 , Psalm 74: 13 – 14, Isaiah 27:1
Heavenly Father I come to your throne of grace and mercy, to obtain mercy. Lord God I am seeking deliverance and healing from baldness, falling out hair, body odar’s, fungus infections, inflammation

Sorry nothing super natural it is all metaphor for that beast inside ones pants that can rule ones life out of proportion to the rest of it making it the number one focus... so there is a period in life where that natural drive rules; it separates the head and the heart. Over time or placed in proper proportions then one can cease to be ruled by what are akin to animal urges... that's what they are so many metaphors being on the prowl... looking for something or someone to satisfy that urge.

Waking up that sleeping beast early is not a good thing; as ones view or focus of the world can become very distorted, especially when there are a ton of concepts such as shame or guilt when a child accidentally "finds themselves" instead of saying there's an appropriate time and place that it is healthy and natural and something to keep to yourself in personal respect and responsibility to oneself and others. As it can make and break peoples entire lives.

So view... in those days they only had metaphors euphemisms, they didn't have complex language so what on the body looks like a snake that could seem to possess people against their better sense of judgment? The penis... going from that route the metaphors and euphemisms get to be pretty plan and really really clear.

One has to think of the times... people were just forming civilizations out of the wilderness and tribes many scared to even go near places heard about in wondrous tales in some direction, but wanderlust and off to see those things a mixture of sights and sounds of early cultures... the gleam in the eye that some places so fanciful may exist the same pull to some was just as strong as fear in others... still the same occurs to this very day in the wanderlust and fear of places, peoples, and things unknown.

In language barely even written basic forms there was no words for all of our complexity in many places, and where there were? All of it to anyone uneducated or versed in it it would be like a foreign language and many times it was just that many of them mixed together, such would be like this: Oh ye blah on the blah with blah and blah... person has no idea what is even being said lost in translation of no comprehension. Same thing still goes on when someone fails to really listen to someone, mind running jibber jabber grasping at itself and what it has to say like the other person is cuing them... instead of really listening in sincere earnest or silence taking it to heart instead of the mind.

So one has to think, these scrolls/folios etc. were intended for mass consumption so they also had to dumb it down in a lot of ways lose the technical jargon or dogma and speak in the every persons language... but over time of that occurring? It has become over thought using a very advanced intellect to way over analyse very basic concepts.

They weren't trying to create mysteries and secrets they were meant to be a teaching anyone could pick up, and someone go snake? In a garden that creates man and woman? Um hello penis and vagina, snake parting/piercing the seas... sexual intercourse.

When moving in a vast array of culture this sort of thing was like a guide book, how to not get nailed on a cross for dummies. That's it... people trying to live by a visitor manual written so long ago? Draw all of these outlandish significance's from it? It's silly especially when the world has advanced oh so far from then, but not that far because people love their little visitors manual, here give it to the children... it'll make them insane and fight about old dumb crap too... they were written to be able to walk around anywhere and avoid fighting about dumb crap.

demons are real and their oppression in people's lives is very real. Archeology is showing that ancient civilizations and people groups were more advanced than even our modern society, which does not fit into the evolutionary world view that many hold onto.

If such things do exist they are past and future. Don't resurrect the past, and the future won't hold them. That is an individual thing of course... no one can say stop thinking about stuff long gone that does you nor anyone else no good or benefit... like a bad habit it can be overcome and then the future just unfolds on its own unbound to past. When people carry things nonessential in their daily lives to the actual living of it? In mind it can become a habit and that is what allows suffering to go on and continue into the future... for not only oneself but all others that hold such things.

The future is open potential, allowing the past to rob it instead of enrich what is right then and right there in and of itself? Why the entire world is in the mess it is in... but this view and that view yes views many of them which one is actually you, which one has ever been a you? All and none all as in all seen and held in mind, none as in they did not originate from you... so give them to to whom they belong and stop carrying uselessness.
