Because propaganda always includes dead children in the streets.

That's my point. It's all I've heard/seen for the past two days.

Assad doesn't gain anything by chemical bombing his own, regardless of supposed affiliation. Russia does. U.S. does.

You might want to read up a bit on the civil war in Syria.

Tillerson is scheduled to visit Russia and meet with the foreign minister on April 12. If it still happens it may be the one to watch.

True could be a Russian false flag by the FSB to drag the US and Russia in to a shooting war.

Putin makes more money off the eastern military industrial complex.

My theory is that intel in exchange for removal of sanctions.

Bull#. I voted for him, in part because he campaigned strongly on the principle that the U.S. shouldn't be involved in regime change. And yet here we are...

This is NOT a regime change action. Get educated on the issue, then comment. Stop making things up.

It is quite right to point out that Trumps campaign platform included the end of intervention in the Middle East.

Educate your own self...

"We will stop racing to topple foreign regimes that we know nothing about, that we shouldn't be involved with," Trump said, insisting the United States must end a "destructive cycle of intervention and chaos."

That's not what I was saying. Read to understand. Cruise missile strikes are not "regime change". YOU educate YOURself. Thanks.

I read YOU clear enough, you deflect from the truth here.

Every single missile, bomb, shell and soldier is directly part of the process of Regime Change (overthrow) of the Syrian government.

Oh ok. So every single time we've ever bombed a country, we ousted their leader. Got it. Brb, I got some history books to correct. You know nothing, stop spreading ignorance.

Whose being played ?

Of the years of civil war in Syria and the hundreds of threads on here about it.

And terrorist propaganda showing them having chemical warfare killing rabbits, and the ingredients being procured by the friends of Syria.

I'm aware it has happened and partly the reasoning. Things seem to be a little to neat and scripted this time around however.

Maybe you should? 6 years of BS around that war and you still fall for the same tired old tricks?

If a country is going to be attacked over this issue, I would think the world would demand proof of the incident, not just the "word" of a government.

Whose president argues that everything is fake news. But buys this BS hook, line and sinker.

My apologies. Wasn't trying to get partisan or anything. But Vietnam was before my time so I'm not familiar with all the details on who did what and why those were started or who authorized them.

I bet they were not warned ahead of time.

Or Russia just 'hacked' the DNC again, and moved their snip.

A valid point worth considering...yet here we are.

Either we are responsible to justify tomahawks or goaded by someone else to send tomahawks.

The issue however is this is way above Trumps mental capacity and the timing giving the reshuffle of his National Security Council is very, very, very concerning.

The US military is back in play and they clearly want this.

The solution at the time did not work.

Actually, it did.
Russia brokered the deal to remove Assad's chemical weapons.

Right, what red line? After disarmament, the red line could no longer exist. Peoples memories are shorter than their attention spans.
