On Friday, Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez told activists in New Jersey that their protests were hitting the Trump administration where it hurt. He pointed to Jan. 21, the day of the Women’s March, as the start of a resistance that had been more effective than critics ever expected.

If there was any doubt on the direction the new chair of the DNC would take, we have some obvious cues. I'm not sure if they are beginning to cannibalize or falling further into their ideology but it's been humorous to watch.

“Women marched all over the world and said: Donald Trump, you don’t stand for our values!” Perez said. “That’s what they said. Donald Trump, you didn’t win this election!” If anyone didn’t want to hear this, Perez had an answer: “I don’t care, because they don’t give a s--- about people.”

“Tom has not only pointed out that the Russians interfered in this election to help Donald Trump get elected, but Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by nearly 3 million people,” Hinojosa said. “Since before Trump stepped foot in the Oval Office, his divisive and destructive views had already been rejected by a vast majority of the American people.”

Was everyone running for POTUS not on the same page? Did they not understand the rules of the game? The Electoral College is the final arbiter regarding the peoples voice.

At a speech in Detroit, Perez said Trump graduated from “Makin’ S--- Up University,” and at several live-streamed candidate forums, he described the administration’s executive orders on labor rules as “bulls---t.” The New Jersey and Texas speeches were the latest in a string of fiery Perez open mics; they were just the first to cross the radar of conservative media.

Colorful. When they go low...............

The DNC seems to have gone full blown Bolshevik. Screw the Constitution and screw the country. What their faithful followers fail to realize is that when the powder keg explodes, punks like Perez and the other elitists of the party will all be safe under the protection of the corrupt government they claim to be rebelling against....

Many of you seem to be posting under the delusion the Democrats continue to have a shred of power in government. I would just like to remind you all the liberals have been vanquished from government in 2016. There's nothing stopping Republicans from getting things done other than their own incompetence.

Have they now?

How many have they shot dead for treason against the people? *crickets*

Ok, then how many political adversaries have they locked up from opposing parties? *tumble weed*

Fair enough, then have they instigated a revolution, taken the government from the moneyed few, and passed laws preventing any but the majority from having power? *a lonely owl hoots, upon the branches of a distant tree*

Sounds like bull to me to be honest.

God bless the incompetence of republicans. It's funny that they are their own biggest enemy, in everything.

Because Symbolic parades, Signs, and "Catchy Slogans", and Hashtag activism is really "Resisting" nothing but "Peace-Police"

As the people ask to "Vote in change and reformist" "Vote in more Corporatist, Capitalist, Statist" "We the people and Muh Democracy and Constitution"

The Liberal elites are just wriggling their hands in anticipation

Give them time.

I'm sure no one in Venezuela really thought Chavez was going to lead to the total collapse of their system of government into what amounts to a dictatorship, either, when it all started out.

Venezuela is failing because it is being punished for socialism by US economic warfare, not because its leader failed to do the best he could for his people, not because he failed to represent the people of his country effectively.

Could it be that the Russians enabled Perez to be the head of the DNC, to ensure an 8 year Trump presidency?

Such a tied excuse.

Venezuela is failing because Chavez nationalized his oil industry and it carried his entire country, but only while global oil prices remained high. As soon as other countries started developing their own fossil fuel sources to bring the price down, OPEC decided to create an oil glut to put those new producers who were non-OPEC out of business. This cratered the global oil market and had the side effect of cratering Venezuela's entire economy along with it because Chavez wasn't smart enough to develop more of the economy than the oil industry.

None of that is America's fault unless you want to blame us for going along with the Canuck's in developing our domestic oil reserves instead of wanting to happily continue paying $4+/gallon for gas.

20% of Democrats and 30% of Union Democrats are pro-life, what the hell is the DNC thinking? I know democrats are anti-life, but you would think they would at least try to hold on to the remaining sane voters in their ranks. It really does seem like they are going to alienate everyone but the far left communists. I don't even know if the corrupt news media will be able to save them.

Defending Hugo Chavez? You have some balls my friend, maybe not brains, but definitely some big stones. I'd love to hear your defense of Stalin and Guevara as well.

Hugo Chavez and Stalin? Stalin and Guevara? Are you seriously trying to tell me that you believe these people are comparable with one another? For shame. I know you can do better than that with the meaty blob inside your skull sir.
