A little more backup for the Trump-Prince connection ...

The Intercept - v

On election night, Prince’s latest wife, Stacy DeLuke, posted pictures from inside Trump’s campaign headquarters as Donald Trump and Mike Pence watched the returns come in, including a close shot of Pence and Trump with their families. “We know some people who worked closely with [Trump] on his campaign,” DeLuke wrote. “Waiting for the numbers to come in last night. It was well worth the wait!!!! #PresidentTrump2016.” Prince’s sister, billionaire Betsy DeVos, is Trump’s nominee for education secretary and Prince (and his mother) gave large sums of money to a Trump Super PAC.

Good luck proving any of this BS. If there was anything to dig up, it would've already been found through the pre-election surveillance.

See the damn article you posted from:

Though Prince had no formal role with the Trump campaign or transition team, he presented himself as an unofficial envoy for Trump to high-ranking Emiratis involved in setting up his meeting with the Putin confidant, according to the officials, who did not identify the Russian

Clue: "operatives" have formal roles

"according to U.S., European and Arab officials"

Really, who is inclined to believe "unamed Arab officials".

This at the same time ISIS is threatening to kill Trump,
yet WaPo thinks this is credible?

DId you happen to ignore US and European officials intentionally?

What's your point. Do you have any evidence that the IAE didn't broker a meeting between Prince and Russian agents?

If not ... are you only here to divert and diffuse?

Note "formal role."

Did you see the part about setting up "back-channel" connections?

Why so desperate to discredit with nothing?

Pretty obvious that Prince is involved with Trump here, as opposed to what you just claimed.

Is our president not suppose to talk to Russia? I don't understand, are they talking about taking over the rest of the world together or something?
Shouldn't we be trying to keep peace and even try to work together and try to make the world a better place?
As far as back channels go. anything that they talk about is not going to released to the public anyway, Putin could come to the WH and we would get maybe 10% of what they talk about.

No, the President can talk to Russian agents officially or unofficially.

Yes, we should work for international peace.

And yes, this article points to another surreptitious connection between Trump operatives and Russian agents.

Also, begs the question ... WHY? Why keep hiding and lying about it after November 9th?

Your OP to defend, not mine. Burden of
proof falls on you while no evidence of your
OP story exists.

Simply hearsay.

Based on Arab "officials"?

Unnamed European "officials"?

If there was a shred of truth to this someone would
vouch for the story. This is not classified information,
so it seems the OP is just made up bull snip.

Actually, the article stands on its own.

Your claims are the ones that have no backup, and to have any validity, you should back them up with ... something.

Or say that it's your opinion, of course, which is all you've given us so far.

For example, can you place Erik Prince in some other place doing something else at this particular time?

Is there some reason that you don't think Mr. Prince would like to help Mr. Trump, given the obvious connections between the two?

See, this would be evidence that let's you reasonably challenge the OP ... not the ubiquitous "FAKE NEWS" wailing of the typical Trump supporter.

If you're not one, perhaps try not to sound so much like one? No disrespect.

Was a crime committed? See this is very scary thinking,
just another Democrat witch hunt.

I'll tell you why I simply do not trust a story
to be true until there is substance to it.

It has nothing to do with Trump.

Even Bernie is bailing on the Russia "theme".
He said yesterday "Clinton" not Russia is responsible
for the election.

It seems that the mass "Russia everywhere" hysteria
is reaching critical mass, and when it all turns
out to have been crazy conspiracy theories,
the Democrats are going to be even further
discredited, if that is even possible.

And you've never seen me claim that Russia is responsible for Clinton's loss.

Neither have most folks who are interested in the a) Russian attacks against our electoral system and b) possible past collusion between Trump's operatives and Russian agents.

It has nothing to do with Clinton. And in reality, the "Russia everywhere" phenomenon was started and propagated by Trump acolytes who cannot accept ANYTHING that seems negative to Mr. Trump.

It's not about Democrats and Republcians at the core ... it's about a foreign country and one of our long-time adversaries being able to infiltrate and manipulate our systems.

If you aren't concerned about that, I don't know what to say to you.

This has been proven to be untrue, according to The FBI Director.
There was no hacking of the "voting system".

Why would they need a 'back door' meeting? The election was done and over. The transition team had every right to contact other governments in preparation for the incoming administration.

Maybe He needed a back door because the front door was bugged all to hell and the media would report His every word.

I'm sure you can admit to the large amount of hearsay in that article. Could be fact, could be BS and could be something in between.

The question that really stands out is if the angle they are reporting is true, then why? Why would they need some sort of "back door" or subtle form of communication when Trump is the POTUS or the POTUS elect? He claimed as much during his campaign that working with Russia was going to happen.

Like President, like cult. Never let a Trump-related post go by without a Hillary Clinton deflection! If Clinton and her friends are dirty, that somehow means that Trump and his friends are clean!

That's some stellar logic there.

After reading through most of this thread, I fail to see much logic at all.

Except for a select few, of course.

Hearsay?

I think there's a difference between "hearsay" and unnamed sources.

The best journalism is of course open and direct with named individuals ... but let's be real ... this kind of thing has always depended on confidential sources.

I raised that question earlier about the "Back door".

Factions in the Russian government?
