Sorry to hear about your strokes. One of my teachers I had growing up just had a series of strokes last year and left her in a wheel chair. She gets depressed also because she wants to be able to do the things she used too and cannot. I had not seen her in years and last weekend a bunch of us got together and celebrated her birthday. She just turned 79. She had been asking about me and my sisters before we had arrived and when she saw us her face lite up like the morning sun, with the biggest smile she could muster. As I was saying my goodbyes and getting ready to go she looked at me and had one request. She asked "Could you sing for me?" I grabbed a chair and sat it right next to her. I had no Idea what i was going to sing I just knew i was not going to turn down that request. She had sacrificed so much of her own time for me and my sisters that I felt that it is such a small tolken of my appreciation to sing for her. So i sat and pondered for half a minute before i started singing "Amazing Grace". She closed her eyes and not even five words into it she started singing along.

After i stopped she looked at me and asked to sing another but her husband was prepping her to go back home and I didn't want to delay them. I did however get a hold of my sisters and sooner rather than later we are going to go over to her house and surprise her with an afternoon full of songs.

I just wanted to say it warms my heart to know you are alive. I have knocked on the door to your other thread hoping you would resurface.

I just saw the other thread, found Nightstars link and here I am.
Mostly your ATS adversary, but I consider that a bind for real
world friendship. Straight out, I miss your scoldings as I often
had to concede to your sensibility and fairness. So glad to find
out you're back posting and looking forward to you hard timing
my butt again. You have my positivity and prayers in your corner
