Italy held a referendum back in December and they voted to leave and they could be having snap elections as soon as June. Greece can't leave as they are hostage to Germany who now own most major roads airports and shipping terminals. Netherlands is the next one considering leaving or at least Geert Wilders supporters are. Sweden I doubt very much will leave. Fortunately for Norway they voted no to the EU and have never looked back. Portugal may have to leave due to the huge cost of being a member which is bankrupting the country same as Greece. Even the Danish Prime Minister has admitted that now after Brexit, many will start to reassess their membership of the EU. France will leave if Marine le Pen wins (its neck and neck atm)

All it needs for the EU to crumble entirely is probably one more country like France or Spain to leave and I think the others will follow suit

Brexit doesn't mean we Brits hate Europe it means we dislike the EU. We didn't vote for the EU, we voted for the EEC...the EU is nothing like the EEC in its current transformation..we never voted to hand over power and decision making to another country. Those not from Europe would be stunned at the ridiculous rules & regulations that have been imposed on us and the rest of Europe by these bungling over paid idiots in Brussels

I am not in Europe but have many expat friends I play golf with. The ones who talk about such things say the excessive regulations supposedly to make the playing field level is raping the haves for the havenots (EU bureaucrats))...something like that... The non assimilating immigrants has been the weight that has tipped the scales for many, as the reports and feelings of increased crimes against the nation's residents is driving some who can, to vote with their feet and leave..

If Marine le Pen lives long enough to win I would bet that would be the death of the EU if France does the exit thingy. No not the next day but more like a cancer even though the EU will fight back .... good luck with that.. The whole new world order IMO is not ready for the tribal and religious differences that mankind exhibits.. Dreamers dream but reality is....reality.

The only really surprising thing to me is how long it's taken people to wake up to the fact that 'globalism' is a product of the elite, a socialistic tool used to wrest money away from individuals and put it into the pockets of the elite, people who have absolutely no intention of using it for the greater good, but rather for their own selfish and self-absorbed GREED and POWER. That it's taken so long to understand that globalism facilitates the shifting of the power base away from personal welfare and destiny, and toward mass marginalization of the people and divestment of personal responsibility in favor of the universal despair and acceptance.

That's what really surprises me.

They'll see the horrendous effect is has on the UK and think "you know what, we better stay"

There is a chance the EU will realise that cutting off their own nose to spite their face is a an act of folly. It'll be payment for the UK actually keeping Europe from falling into tyranny over the last two centuries. The UK will survive and probably hand back the severed nose with an embarrassed apology for disrupting EU group-think.

Highly unlikely as UK are one of the most hated countries in Europe, most European countries will gladly see UK ripped apart.

Well, as someone who has lived in two European countries and travelled extensively, I have to say I detected none of this "hate" you are so sure about.

I think the EU is genuinely upset the UK is going, not least because it throws a spanner in the works and has cast doubt over the sneaking federalisation, but also because the UK has balanced Germany and France. Without the UK the EU will become completely controlled by Germany and to a lesser extent France.
