Hi,
This thread is about the reason for the number 42 being so prevalent in the world today.
Most folk know that Douglas Adams introduced the number in his Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series of books.
Deep thought, the second most powerful computer ever to exist, took 7.5 million years to work out the answer to Life the Universe and Everything, to be 42.
Earth was then built to work out the reason for the answer.
This turns out to be quite extraordinary.
I'm going to divulge a little of it by way of question and answer.
And I'll do that when I know a few people are watching the thread.
At present I know of two people who know the reason, or at least some of it.
Who wants to be early days.

Talking about?

42 is a great number, I enjoyed being 42.

As you can tell, I am not one of the ones, who know.

You can't be serious.
Ok.
First question.
If you travel 20 Astronomical units from the sun you will be in a planets orbital path.
What planet is that.

Correct.

Your on the ball.
There's something special about Uranus that makes that a valid comment.
What is that.

Clearly knowing the secret of life does not include grammatical perfection...

Your very clever with you're assertions...

Playing it straight...according to google it spins on its side, but I doubt that is it.

Or is it?

Technically can a semi spherical shape have a side?

OMG, I've fallen into the ATS black hole, just like I did at the Nyx make up counter yesterday.

Christosterone,
you're quite correct.

Uranus is named after Gaia's (which is Mother Earth) husband, so technically or not so technically Uranus is married to Earth.

I think.
