First I did't vote for him but sure was happy when Hillary didn't win. She did the impossible and made trump look like a cub scout.

No trump doesn't suck because he visits his family at his residence on a weekly basis nor that he uses 3 plys versus 2 ply toilet paper. Nor because those pesky russian commies.

The reason Trump is sucking Arse right now is because.

1. He picked the worst candidate to lead the FCC. The guy was a complete telecom Wh0re. The recent actions of letting the most hated industry do what they want and continue to screw their customers even more is only the beginning.

Although the DNC isn't really any better with net neutrality. It just so happened that we the regular joes and joettes were just lucky that two oligarch industry wen't to war with each other (Online tech vs Telecom), which doesn't happen often. Luckily for us the Online tech won on the net neutrality issue which as a side effect benefitted the regular joes and joetes of the world. In the recent change both the Online tech & Telecom industry benefited from the change hence it wasn't stopped.

2. The GOP healthcare cr@p about Obamacare being the end of the world for the last 8 years and they get their chance to do something they blow it.
IMO This is more on the worthless GOP selected republicans in congress, but Trump needs to call out their BS.

However, this leads me to the 3rd reason as to why the GOP doesn't want to fix healthcare.

3. Congressional congressional term limits. Trump promised to try to enforce term limits for congress.
This should have been his first and only priority.

It doesn't take an ATS engineer to figure out that you can't get morally superior and ethical politicians to fix healthcare when they have conflict of interest with the lobbyist drafting and creating the healthcare regulations for them.

Healthcare is not broken for congress nor the healthcare lobbyist who help create the regulations. Its only broken for us.

So I ask our fellow democrats to drop the weekly bs crap on trump on how he hates women, minorities, immigrants, Muslims ,and the Russians and go after him on these issue specifically on the congressional term limits issue which effects all other issues.

For our republican friends here , I too enjoy the fact that Hillary wasn't elected despite not voting for Trump. However, the GOP elected congress members are no better than the democrat ones. They are one in the same, and part of the reason why trump was appealing to many.

Hence why the GOP are back tracking on the healthcare . They have no plan or desire to change it , the DNC and GOP play together to get what the lobbyist want. The lobbyist wanted Obamacare hence why Hillary was suppose to win. By some miracle the well greased system let Trump win, republicans should not let this go to waste.

So I ask you to hold Trump to the fire and hold your party responsible as well and get Trump to focus on congressional term limits.

In essence . we need individual democrats and republicans to work together against the DNC and the GOP. They are not on our side.

We will not fix any issues in congress until both individual party members focus on the following issues , which they both should be able to agree on and want.

1. congressional term limits

2. campaign financing reform.

3. Lobbying reform

4. doing away with super-pacs

5. Revolving door between gov't and private sector

6. Transparency

Bottom line break the cycle .

There is no point to discuss fixing healthcare,ss,medicare, taxes, economy, world conflicts, racism, sexism and all the other issues the MSM,GOP, and DNC force you to concentrate on. You must first do those 6 things above to minimize conflict of interest in order to get congress to do the best for the people and fix those issues.

Most republicans are actually good people believe it or not and have probably held the door for you on numerous occasions without you even knowing it.

You're so against the fringe right that you have become a part of the fringe left which is just as bad.

You have to be a complete male donkey to honestly think the issues with our country is caused by only 1 party and not special interest.

Thank you for being part of the problem in this country and ruining our gov't. Its political cheerleaders like yourself that care more about the party than the country whgich are guilty of letting lobbyist take full control of our gov't by always pointing the finger and never holding your own party accountable .

Glad there are others that see things objectively instead of subjectively. Both parties are the issue, not one or the other.

Republicans and dems are immoral and for the most part are not serving the people, they serve the lobby.

Health care is going to have to crash to be fixed. It's the real world, hence Obama care, hence no-repubcare.

Status quo.

It is refreshing to see fresh, original criticism of Trump instead of the usual parroting of the establishment anti-Trump talking points seen too often here at ATS.

I fully agree on term limits but not with the sucking @rse part.

So why make such broad and sweeping statements about liberals when the ones you are complaining about do not represent the majority? If both parties are working for the lobbyists then why do you think they're not BOTH acting as they're told by those very same lobbyists? Meaning all these ridiculous things being said by "librals" are only being said to cause division.

It's identity politics 101 and you're failing the class. It should be obvious why you are so angry at liberals, it's because they want you to be so that you wall yourself off from others.

Same goes for the far left as well.

Trump is nothing more than an establishment puppet, just look at how he is attacking the Freedom Caucus, no Patriotic Conservative/Populist would do that. Democrats should love Trump, he is on their side, he won't do any of the things needed to make the country strong again.

I'm in your shoes and agree almost entirely. I'm upset about even the premise of RyanCare. Then, criticizing the Freedom Caucus? Did someone forget how 1 in 2 Americans voted for you?

If he had a brain in his head he'd do two things.

One, fire his inner circle and look for someone actually conservative to chat with. You know, the people that put you there to NOT be the political norm.

Two, stop the daily press "gotcha question" circus. Get rid of the press conference.. they are not there to report news anyway, otherwise they might be covering employment, real health care problems.. someone might ask why spending 2 billion dollars a day when our country makes less then that is bad?

Have a conference once a week with a sampling of normal Americans and answer their questions. Let the press report on that. Then possibly the press can start reporting actual news again instead of a 24/7 whine about Trump. You know.. force them to start actually doing their jobs again instead of just being the propaganda arm of the DNC.

S&F for finally making a political thread that isn't so partisan that it kills any kind of debate on the issues.

True, we know that the MSM ain't going to do it, Congress ain't going to do it, DNC ain't going to do it, GOP ain't going to do it,lobbyist ain't going to do it.

So the only chance we have is individual democrats , individual republicans, and individual independents. All they need todo is temporarily put their political difference aside and join forces to demand that the MSM, Congress, DNC, and GOP address only those 6 concerns until we minimize the corruption in DC.

If that is not done, then the cycle of BS in DC will continue.

What slime are you talking about? The slimiest thing I saw was the DNC manipulating with the MSM to make Hillary clinton their candidate, despite being under criminal investigation and having more scandals and lies than even trump himself.

I'm not republican, didn't vote for Trump, not religious and as a libertarian I actually supported Bernie Sanders. Sadly Bernie pissed all over his message about corruptions in DC and was a sell out from the start based on the wikilieaks emails, as he had a pact with the Clintons campaign.

What cruel regime changes are you talking about? You honestly think only the republicans or Christians have sold our country to the highest bidder? Thats just crazy and I'm not even a Christian. I'm actually agnostic and believe and separating church from state.

All that doesn't matter..well it does, but the simple way is just to point out that Trump is a crook..and shouldn't be in the White House, you don't need to take sides about that, however the problem there is how he got there in the first place given the baggage he carries. Sure Hillary isn't the most empathetic being the world, and much of what is caught on tape is not exactly Mumsy. So, what you got was one of the two who were bottom in first choice in the election. But hey, let's give him a chance was the cry when he won, the cry is likely still the same since there is not much else to do, though even Spicer seems to be having doubts at this early stage, today he is telling reporters that he doesn't know stuff, (it's ongoing, I don't know) kind of thing, while it used to be the royal,"We" this that and the other.
You may be on to something though, the question is what exactly?

Why is our gov't out of control and nothing gets fixed.

The answer:
because individual republicans and individual democrats are being manipulated by the MSM, GOP, and DNC to only focus and discuss the symptoms of the issues (healthcare,SS,taxes, economy, world conflicts, etc) and not the cause of the problem (conflict of interest).

The end result is what we are seeing. We are chasing our tails over the same issues for numerous decades , because the real problem is never focused on by the MSM,GOP, and DNC. Coincidentally, the system is working just fine and getting better for the GOP, DNC, MSM , and the Lobbyiest while it keeps getting worse for the individual republicans and individual democrats.

I guess you could also say the question could also be worded as:
Why do you expect a group of people with conflict of interest to fix a system that they created and is working perfectly fine for them?
