Texas is allowed to secede from the Union as per agreements on joining. A big deal is made about it regularly. Ohio is an odd case, in which the paperwork was lost or misfiled back n 1803 and as a result Ohio was never technically admitted by Congress. Ohio did make a big production in 1957 (I think it was) about the snafu and delivered the forms by horseback from Columbus, Ohio to Washington DC. Everyone had a big laugh and said of course Ohio is a state...only Congress again did not formally admit Ohio to the union.

Or it could be he thinks Gov Kasich is so pissed at Trump he would remove Ohio and the people of Ohio would fall in line. Right now Kasich would be lucky to be elected to shovel up road apples from a parade of horses because Ohioians don't like his spoil sport / sore loser crap since the primaries. So while possible, surely the guy is more aware than that.

Please take California.. just allow enough time for all the folks who want out to leave.... and the ones who want in, time to get in.
