Just how desperate are the terrorists in Iraq? Well it would seem they must be getting really desperate if they have resorted to takng dolls hostage. A group calling itself the Al Mujahedeen Brigade, recently claimed to have taken a U.S. soldier named John Adam hostage, and it threatened to behead him if Iraqi prisoners are not released by U.S. forces. The only problem, The picture they used of proof is apparently "Special Ops Cody," a military action figure made by Dragon Models USA.

www.cnn.com
(CNN) -- A photograph posted on an Islamist Web site appears to be that of an action figure and not a U.S. soldier being held hostage.

Liam Cusack, the marketing coordinator for Dragon Models USA, said the figure pictured on the Web site is believed to be "Special Ops Cody," a military action figure the company manufactured in late 2003.

"It pretty much looks exactly like the same person," he said.

Everyday we hear on CNN, The BBC, and other western media about how badly the war in Iraq is going, however is that the truth or is it merley propaganda? If the "freedom fighters" in Iraq have resorted to holding action figure hostage then maybe things aren't as bad as they seem.
