Ummm...well...in Islamaland...they throw rocks at girls for the cardinal sin of...being raped...

It makes one wonder why Hitlery's daughter hasn't bothered to form an opinion...about that particular little quandary...

Perhaps she could ask Weiner dogs wife about that aspect of...the religion of peace...but in the meantime...lets get all vociferous at a billboard about engagement rings and such...

I'll be waiting here patiently for a response from her...

I think it's a clever billboard and I wrote them and told them so.

Those who whine about it should F O A D .

I'd love it if someone threw one of those rocks at me!

Ummm... but wasn't this in America (a civilised country) where they

don't make a habit of throwing rocks at females that get raped?

"Rocks" being a slang word for jewels, surely is well understood as

such by the people the advertising is being aimed at!

It was very obviously not being aimed at the SJW pc brigade.

Ummm...yeah...I think you could probably make the correct assumption...that I got all that...and...you'd be correct...

Yep...you could also probably tell that it was all a tad...tongue in cheekiness...while at the same time juxtaposing the deafening silence from her particular form of feminism on that very real issue...
All while exposing her double standardization...

Oh the...irony...it was all about the irony...

One might also be able to discern my humorous intent from that last line as well...

But I digress and apologize...whenever one has to explain the punchlines...a diatribe does lose the intended humor...

Or does it...?

I would like to hear a well formed argument as to why some ladies are offended rather than the article the op introduced us into
Yes it does sound silly, kinda think maybe not hearing the intent of those opposed to the billboard really is

Hillary clintons daughter is keen to announce her arrival to the world
Political aspirations that girl.
Guess we will read her running commentary on everything for the next 30 years till she runs for office, I hope not

Great marketing - show me a girl that doesn't like diamonds and I will call her a liar.

here are some safe PC marketing slogans for the store

"Wear a rock around your neck."

"Wear a rock on your finger...great for digital exercise."

"what sort of a man doesn't want rocks for his woman"

did you see the slogan right next to the diamonds - whats culture got to do with it? It was a harmless ad

Advertising execs have no flipping idea what they are doing anymore.

You do realize it was a small family jewelry store - not some national chain....why would they have a dedicated PR exec?, this is what leads to misunderstandings like the outrage over the slogan. Diamonds have been colloquially called rocks for a long time

Where was the outrage at the Superbowl over a dancing monkey in nappies?

Conundrum. This is literally common practice in Saudi.

Is it common practice in Saudi Arabia? Any stats?

I know it was the common practice of Gods chosen people in the Bible
