The repubs lied, they have no replacement.

I know you find it hard to believe that they lied, and all the posturing against Obama care was a farce, but it was.

The repubs knew they were never going to remove Obama care, and Hillary is supposed to be pres anyway.

How about set determinations and definitions for "pre-existing" conditions and give an option for Medicare.

No age limits. Part "B" (and supplemental) costs set by income.

Start there.

Why not just go single payer and make everybody pay regardless how much they make. Deport the illegals, jail all the welfare frauds and we decent people would have a nice healthcare system.

I wonder if you couldn't just clean up the buisness end corruption and lower prices while increasing services??

Even if you ignored the lower end worst case scenerio welfare queen beating the system for 5-10 grand a year..

Dies that hold a candle to the billion dollar back room deals we never even hear about??!

I doubt it.

How?!?

Not just with healthcare....

How can you have any buisness allowing a totally unnecessary middle man take that big of a chunk off the top and still be anywhere near efficient??

If a buisness is paying for an unnecessary service they dont keep paying for it..

Can it be done???

Who has successfully ran their medical industry like that???

Every other modern country considered the a failure and dropped them...

Our healthcare prices were already 2 or 3 times that of Europe and Canada BEFORE OBAMACARE..

Now they are like 4 or 5 times as much

A bi–partisan solution

It will never happen. Congress is divided among party lines.

Really, your perspective is the way our congress is supposed to work! They should be putting party differences aside and taking the best parts of Obama Care and create a Health Care bill that will cover and benefit all Americans. Instead both sides only support bills that fall in-line with their party ideology.

They really don't care if they hurt a segment of the population like the elderly, middle class or the poor. It all comes down to making the insurance and pharmaceutical companies happy. As long as we have corporate money and influence in our government, and many of our representatives are established millionaires who receive better benefits than their constituents, the voice of Americans will never be heard!

I no longer hold much faith in our two-party system. It's too divisive and causes nothing but grid lock.

Sure let's just continue to let a totally unnecessary middle man take a larger cut than all the people who actually provide healthcare...

It will crash before a solution is made. There is so much money that many that are unfairly profiting off this crazy system now think it is their birth right to make this kind of $$$$.

I heard this one guy who interviewed a bunch of old politicians and they are so screwed that if they are not getting money on one side of an issue, they think no one cares about that issue..totally oblivious to the reality..

Millions of dollars getting sent in for selling public land to some big lumber company and no money comming in to keep it public land???

Then obviously no one care about keeping it public land..

You will never get around allowing some one who does not preform a medical function, middlemaning your entire healthcare system...

They just move papers around and take 30% off the top... before drs, before nurses...hell even before the big pharma companies...

That's why everyone else has stopped using insurance companies..

They have always been a scam.. their profits 100% depend on denying service and people who pay in, but never actually use the policy.

How is trump attacking the private prison system , when his AG just said he was gonna go after recreational pot?!?!

That is the prison systems biggest cash cow and lobbying point.. more people are in jail for pot THAN ALL VIOLENT CRIMES COMBINED!!!

Trump IMHO knows "Medicinal MJ"....will fill a massive void if it is supported and allowed to usurp big pharma as it naturally will....he likely also knows that many many people who now use MJ can and will go to their Drs to get prescribed medical MJ...not a big pharma synthetic either devoid of true medicinal properties.....its a no brainer that having teenagers sitting in the basement playing -x-box online is better than having them arming up and gunning down schools full of other kids.

Why do you think there is a sudden opiate shortage in NA ??.....lol.....there will soon be no money in it.....patients will choose MJs medicinal painkilling properties over opiates.....wha la...no more absurd deadly crime inducing opiate addictions....and this is the tip of the iceberg.....the swingpoint for Trump will be making Medical acess widespread and a RIGHT and implementing the medical distribution quickly and seamlessly......FORCEING DOCTORS TO GET OFF THE BIG PHARMA GRAVY TRAIN....meaning there should be just as many adult MJ users under medical pretenses as under legal use pretenses.....some people interpret evidence to show MJ medicates on every level in every method of consumption.

imho Trumps focus is STOPPING THE BLEEDING and preventing more generations of Americans being criminalised for life and removed from the economic wheel ...he knows he cannot help those already scarred.......so he will structure it so that it is EASY TO ACESS MEDICLLY so that if you are not in possesion of a medical prescription....you arent arrested.....no record.....lol....you are sent to a Dr. to get your paperwork straightened out.

From the gist of many comments I read online.....people dont care how or where they get their MJ....Dr. or Cornerstore or Dealer.....so this is simply a logistics issue.

IMHO the Prison System is being tackled on many levels from top to bottom...Supreme Court to Civic By-Law officers to National Guardsmen and Coast Guard people...everyone.......massive sweeping seamless changes which support progressive GROWTH and long-term economic and social profit for America.

All hands on deck for the simple solution to this problem.

A bi–partisan solution

Keep the best of Obamacare such as no preconditions and parents insurance on kids to 26.

Keep also the part where the poor are subsidized to the levels they are now…Maybe increase them a bit and give more middle class peopel better subsidies

Moderate price controls on the health care industry and health insurance rates

A Rand Paul idea to gather massive pools of the uninsured rather like their all work for one employer. That would lesson the price tremendously through a pool like a job

Negotiate rates with the Drug industry on prices something Trump supports

Make Medicare available to people at 62 or 63

Great ideas that will work, not too radical or not too conservative

What "best parts of Obamacare"? How is bossing around insurance companies, doctors and pharmacies going to do anything other than to breed resentment for the patients and government?

I have a better idea.

1) Scrap the individual mandate.

2) Anyone who can prove that they can get by without using health insurance is 100% exempt from ALL taxes. Either pay for your own bills out of pocket, use alternative medicine, fix your diet and lifestyle, whatever you gotta do to make it work. Get creative.

3) Third-party payers would then be reserved for those with prexisting conditions/catastrophic/terminal illnesses/injuries, that cannot be managed/resolved by lifestyle changes in an affordable manor.

At this point, the overwhelming majority of people who are overwhelming the system have lifestyle related diseases (hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, inflammatory related auto-immune diseases, depression, cancers)...many of these are reversible and avoidable by a simple change in diet and lifestyle, SO WHY NOT REWARD THE ONE'S WHO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN HEALTH???

The lifted tax burden will empower them to live healthier lives

I am old enough to remember that going to a doctor was a business transaction and not a so called "right". What happens in my theory is that there are rich doctors and poor doctors. This will mean that the poor will get less care than the wealthy - which is not optimal. However, at this time what seems to matter is that the middle man make more money than anyone and everyone gets good care, but they go bankcrupt in the process.

To fix the major issues of the U.S. healthcare system, which in my opinion boils down to a simple concept, lawmakers and regulators must first understand what healthcare is.

Healthcare

Health

1

a : the condition of being sound in body, mind, or spirit

b : the general condition of the body

2

a : a condition in which someone or something is thriving or doing well

b : general condition or state poor economic health

3
a toast to someone's health or prosperity

www.merriam-webster.com...

Care

1
: suffering of mind : grief

2
a : a disquieted state of mixed uncertainty, apprehension, and responsibility
oppressed by sickness.
b : a cause for such anxiety

3
a : painstaking or watchful attention

4
regard coming from desire or esteem a care for the common good

5
charge, supervision under a doctor's care

6
a person or thing that is an object of attention, anxiety, or solicitude

www.merriam-webster.com...

Is a person’s health a personal issue of well-being? Is the relationship between a healthcare provider and the patient a private one? How then, does a clinician efficiently and positively practice medicine if he/she and the patient has restrictions set in place by lawmakers and regulators that prevents it? Is religion a personal issue? Is the practice of religion regulated? How is medical education governed and regulated? Who influences the material taught in medical schools and who governs clinicians’ medical decisions? Who governs what is deemed medicine? What is medicine? Do patient’s have safe medicine? Do clinician’s have safe medicine to give or recommend to patients? Who governs and regulates medicine? Who governs and regulates our food?

In my opinion, it is ludicrous that the health and care of an individual is ruled by someone other than themselves— by government bodies and agencies of which are influenced by certain pharmaceutical companies. Physicians cannot even “legally” recommend Cannabis to a patient according to current federal laws, even though it is natural and multitudes safer and more effective than modern pharmaceutical drugs.

Nature should never be outlawed. It should be respected. Every individual on this planet should have the right and access to safe and effective medicines, including food (the diet is essential in health and disease I hear) in which are not governed or outlawed by the same corporations and governments that promote toxic and harmful medicines and foods.

If there is a problem with this thinking, then there is a major problem with allowing religious bodies to promote what an individual should/must believe and how he/she should and must conduct their lives.

Hypocritical irony.

Methinks unless you stop GMO completely in its tracks and outlaw it.....soon what you think is a healthy diet will no longer healthy medicinal nor curative.

The key is in disenfranchising Big Pharmas lies....because IMHO high % of non-genetic illnesses are caused by preventable dynamics intentionally forced upon us...including iIMHO a huge number of pharma drugs which are DESIGEND to have trojan horse impacts which project in a cascade effect over time....making more big pharma business which leads to exponentilly worse conditions eventually funneling people into the world of deeper treatments nd surgeries....the next level of the big pharma profit pyramid.

Release the truth of MJs medical applications....stop GMO COMPLETELY.... open up lawsuits and litigation awards AGAINST BIG PHARMA EXPONENTIALLY......until they adjust or are replaced....adopt with other Countries humanitarian laws surrounding medical research and patents ....disenfranchise big pharma ......replace their contributions and supports to their tentacles disguised as learning Institutions and Insurance companies.......prevent Dr.s and Hospitals from supporting big pharma by legally imposing upon them the requirement to prescribe MJ when requested over existing big pharma drugs no matter what their Dr. says....and is Drs on any level impeded this option[as most now feel they must do].....bust them for it.....seamless immediate medical MJ acess is IMPERATIVE....make it an undeniable constitutional Right .

All of that has to be done. Its not a matter of "if", but "when". The modern American culture, diet, and and mentality is completely unsustainable. The tax burden of socialized medicine is unsustainable. The economic burden of Cronyism, poisoning the free market, is unsustainable....

Americans have to choose;

Take responsibility for their own actions, decisions, liberty, lives and health, or face a crash that will take down millions of lives. One way or another, equilibrium will be restored, and I promise you that nature does not care how it is attained.

So America can keep arguing politics until the last nail is hammered into the coffin, or she can wake up.

Its that simple.

Today we have online diagnostic support for everyone globally.....rich Dr????....lol...why???......anyone can be a Dr. with Google search expediting diagnosis.......lol.....seriously....lol.....the tangible value of a Drs diagnostic rationalisation and work was in large part contained in his brain .....today much of the diagnostic legwork is done for a Dr. and really they are more like troubleshooters and Midwives trying to keep communication verbage and meaning on the right page.

If a kid in India can acess all of the online coursework and resources and seminars et al and self-teach...which is entirely possible today.....then there is no decade of education costs jammed down our guts....because this Education dynamic is also a profit pyramid for TPTB....the FIAT VALUE of many many of their supports is now being exposed and disenfranchised....knowledge is power...and profit....like Degrees are mini-cash machines.

When I go to my Dr...the computer goes on immediatly....lol...I can Google search as good as my Dr. and I always do...it has saved me tons of time and I have helped send myself for many proper and timely diagnostic tests because of my online research and foreknowledge......I usually begin with the Harvard Diagnostic Textbooks SOP I get online.....its amazing the BS you learn DRs can pull off once you learn what they are SUPPOSED TO BE DOING SEEING AND ACTING UPON.....lol........and no my Dr. doesnt preach the avoid the internet crap anymore....I think we are all beyond that today....we work TOGETHER NOW.....and I decide with my Dr.......I do not defer any more.

The kicker holding us back is PRESCRIBING DRUGS which is connected to Insurance and litigation and 4 major Cabal profit pyramids......we can go online and learn nd diagnose.....lol....and be BANG ON RIGHT.....but we cannot acess tests and medicines....not without a profit pyramid controlled licensed and insured Dr.....lol.

The way I see it....there never should have been profit involved in medicine.....not in a civilised culture.

Rich Dr vs Poor Dr....lol....he would have to be a thief.....how could one be worth a penny more than another in todays world......lol....I know it is still this way but it wont be for long.
