"It is thought that Jackson was planning further attacks but surrendered himself after realising his picture was being handed around by News outlets.
I mean, what does this mean happened? He saw himself on TV? He saw police handing out flyers at cornershops and bodegas? He was walking through CNN and saw a photo of himself?

Because SJW's outnumber white supremacists by like a million to one, and last I checked it wasn't white supremacists assaulting people for simply wearing a hat.

See my post at the top of the page. There's plenty of blacks in B'More, so why drive all the way up to NYC?
According to my source page it was because NYC is the media capital of the world and he wanted to send a message and strike out against multiculturism...

So this Army vet goes to New York to kill black people. I guess he couldn't find any black people in Baltimore.

He brings a relatively short 18" sword, because an Army vet can't seem to get hold of a gun.

The plan is to kill either an elderly, successful black man or a young thug, because that will discourage white women from hooking up with black men. How that is supposed to work, I don't know. Instead, he kills a homeless black man.

Then, upon discovering that police have a picture of him, he decides to turn himself in. Because, obviously, if the NYPD have the picture of him it's only a matter of time before they realize he's not a native New Yorker and trace him back to Baltimore.

Maybe he's after his 15 minutes of fame. People have done horrific things for a fleeting moment of fame. That would explain why New York, rather than Baltimore. It could also explain why he turned himself in. He wants to be a martyr, or so I would surmise from the fact he turned himself in...
Or I could be really wrong.
martyr
ˈmɑːtə/
noun: martyr; plural noun: martyrs
1.
a person who is killed because of their religious or other beliefs.
Open hunting season on whites, mass angry mobs out beating down people for not being liberal pseudo-inclusive psycho's, etc, how many mass incidents were there last year?
As I watched all that unfold I knew the next thing would be an uptick on retaliatory actions. For now its random nutters.
Keep pushing as it has been and you'll see a proper movement form. From that point it will be never ending back and forth BS that I know I don't want to see happen.
It's time to stop the madness.
Civility can't be checked aside, but it has been. Animosity is contagious, as are all human emotions. This stuff in all its forms must be done away with. The survival of our species this century in the face of Emerging Technologies is already a dire situation, while this stuff distracts us from doing it right at the same time it ensures the worst possible outcomes.
Jackson told police he had harbored hatred toward black men for at least 10 years, authorities said.
According to Caughman’s Twitter page, he was an autograph collector and a music and movie lover who tweeted about John Lennon and Chuck Berry.
(bold is mine)
Jackson was in the Army from 2009 to 2012 and worked as an intelligence analyst, the Army said. Deployed in Afghanistan in 2010-11, he earned several medals and attained the rank of specialist. The circumstances of his discharge were not immediately clear; the Army withholds such details, citing privacy laws.

As for NY being the media capital of the world, I would still think that this story would have gotten as much media coverage if it had happened in Baltimore. Also, I think repeatedly stabbing someone with a sword would attract more attention than a single gunshot in NYC.
He received an honorable discharge from the Army in 2012 as a private, the New York Post reports. Along with his time serving in Afghanistan, Jackson was also stationed in Germany.
Police told the Associated Press Jackson served from March 2009 to August 2012 and was a military intelligence analyst. He was deployed to Afghanistan from December 2010 to November 2011.
Jackson studied at Ohio Wesleyan University in 2007, but it’s not clear if he graduated, the Post reported.
