I want the doctors these mice have. With all this talk of healthcare in the news, it's ironic to find the best care is going to research mice.

Well, as long as you aren't in the Alzheimer-syphilis study.

In fact, nevermind...

Well, it is simple, eat more homemade beef or chicken soup with a few drops of hot sauce in it. www.realnatural.org... I suppose you could incorporate nutritional yeast into the mix somehow, maybe in a loaf of homemade bread or roll to go with the soup.

Or take a supplement, they are cheap. I think for this I would rather eat soup because it contains NAC too, which helps to protect the cells.

Don't eat too much homemade soup though if you have hypoglycemia, soup actually counteracts insulin resistance a bit. You get more energy but you need to make sure not to run low on sugar.

Great. All this will do in reality is allow people to live longer, but also get even fatter before they die.

Actually, I wouldn't mind putting on about 10 pounds. Been "working" on it for about 30 years. Maybe, with 100 more...

If it brings their body back into the same metabolic rate as when they were young that wouldn't happen though. We'd all be back to living in our prime all the time and for a much longer time too. So unless you're someone who always had an obesity problem for some other reason you could just exercise and you'd have the strength and stamina to do it.

We would become the people in Zardoz actually.

Not in large enough amounts then because I keep aging.

I have '___' in me also but I don't have access to it either.

Seriously???? I can't even make a reference to a chemical my own body produces???? Good lord. Of all the things we're allowed to say on here and the censors edit out natural chemicals our own brain produces. We live in a sick world. I mean literally sick.

Yeah, I'm not all that much against the idea to be honest.

I have a while left but I'm not all that thrilled with the world right now anyway so I'm not too bummed out about this coming to an end.

it will end up like that silly film
where Bradley cooper takes a pill and becomes all smart

I saw that movie as a metaphor for heroin addiction

Actually it will be more like the movie Zardoz.

In a future post-apocalyptic Earth in the year 2293, the human population is divided into the immortal "Eternals" and mortal "Brutals". The Brutals live in a wasteland, growing food for the Eternals, who live apart in "the Vortex", leading a luxurious but aimless existence on the grounds of a country estate. The connection between the two groups is through Brutal Exterminators, who kill and terrorize other "Brutals" at the orders of a huge flying stone head called Zardoz, which supplies them with weapons in exchange for the food they collect.

Crappy movie.
Except for Connery, of course.

It was pretty typical for a cheesy old scify movie. Over dramatic, sorta slow moving, with some funny ideas of the future. But the story has some cool concepts too.

They just didn't have a very clear idea on what the future was going to be like. Especially when you try and predict that far ahead. In 200 years we'll look back and laugh about what we're predicting today too.
