Yeah man, this with the goose liver thread is right up my alley of gastronomic indulgence. Maybe one on oysters would be good too, so many tasty little bastards from all over the world to eat.

Yeah, we are far too narrow in what we typically call food from day to day. There isn't much I won't at least try, and i often like everything.

But the preparation for this dish makes me cringe. I struggle with my desire to not kill to eat, and this is like foie gras in that it makes it hard to enjoy due to the suffering that went into creating it.

A few of the recipes I posted have this bird stuffed with foie gras and truffles. The French know what they like.
