Hillary came out of the woods today to tweet, and this is why she lost the election.

I said it at the time and I'll say it now. The phrase "basket of deplorables" will forever haunt Hilary Clinton, the Democrat Party and democrat voters because that was the point when she handed the victory to Trump, and lost it for herself.

With this one phrase she arrogantly implied that if you didn't think like and vote like her and her supporters, that there was something inherently wrong and evil about you. At that point enough of the genuinely undecided voters made up their minds, and decided that anyone who considered being jaded and disillusioned with a broken system made you evil, was not someone who should ever be allowed to hold a position of supreme executive power.

This election was lost as much, if not more so, than it was won.

When things go sour in Trumpland - rather than face the fact that he is failing and cannot work with the GOP (who cannot work with eachother) it is back to reminiscing about that evil old lady. This is second-level inception type justification and deflection - very fun to watch!

She's an old, corrupt crow. She needs to retire and take all that ill-gotten money and hide away until she passes from this sphere.

Why does anyone pretend ACA has made healthcare affordable? Sure, maybe some poor folks could afford it. But its putting insurance our of my ability to afford it. More than doubled under ACA, with 25% increases being foreseen. And to keep my costs so low....i've lost a ton of service,

im paying more for less. You bet your ass it pisses me of. ACA is a deal breaker for me.

I can't help but believe the point of ACA is to make insurance so expensive that everyone begs for single payer.

The ACA was garbage, in my opinion, except for certain provisions that I bet we can agree on.

Obama and the Dems never should have caved on the single-payer aspect and it ended up being another handout to the insurance companies, or the federal government coffers.

The people who designed it may have had the intention for it to lead to single payer but a lot of the people praising it just don't understand economics. There was a reason insurance companies didn't insure certain people before, because if they did they couldn't charge people enough in a free market to pay for all the care. If the companies don't make a profit, they go under, and nobody gets insurance. They tried to explain that when the ACA was being pitched, but all the anti-corporate, anti-capitalist geniuses who think they're smarter than the people who actually run businesses thought they were just being greedy and profits somehow happen automatically for insurance companies, so they wouldn't listen.

The people who designed it likely knew it would implode. I mean, they did call all the public who fell for their pitch a bunch of suckers.

Did you happen to catch Loretta Lynch's call to violence?

Imagine if some white people who supported the Constitution spoke this way?

They already have. It is called the Founding Fathers, and they were intent on establishing this country by any means necessary. Because you agree with their outcome, you have no issue with their methods.

However, not everything that is established and in place in this country works for a large population of the citizenry. If they choose to behave the way the Revolutionists did, not only are they following the instructions of the Declaration of Independence, but deserve (based on your support of the founders of this nation) your respect.

Anything less is hypocritical.

And before you resort to calling me a libtard, snowflake, or any other ad hominem attack, please know that I despise both the Democrats AND the Republicans. They are two different wings of the same bird.

Seriously?!?

That is your assertion? Is that really the best you can do?

Again, I did not support Hillary, nor do I support Trump. However, I have to call out misinformed takes when I see them.

Your take is misinformed. And, it does nothing to further the conversation.

I guess your avatar is wholly representative of who you really are. If not, change that quickly.

Is there anything you don't like about her?

Milehigh: That she lost.
