Yeah, and lot it of is absorbed in rocks and in "already burned" form... water, also hydrogen and oxygen are kinda "explosive" combination.

And what pure oxygen does... If someone is hours in space with pure oxygen atmosphere and would go out for smoke he would "explode" to fire when igniting cigarette.
