Zorok was evil very evil, and his laughter echoed throughout the land of decendancy. He didn't want to run Hell, His humour became him, however, unlike his father, he had a plan. Yes a plan to change reality from what it was to something much greater. He had no idea what that would be because, he was making it up as he went, much like the author of this story you're reading right now.

He looked up into the sky and saw clouds shaped like objects. Bright and colourful they were. So much so that looking upon them was akin to shining a neon light into someones eyes. Blinding as sh't!

The elevator stopped on level 11. The sounds of screaming beings being tortured was damning. But, oh well right?

As Zorok stepped off the elevated hover device, he noticed how bright things were down there. Zorok was ever familiar with this kind of thing, and well, something was off. This only happened when there was a light short taking place.

He looked around for any signs of life, but then remembered Hell was full of dead people, so that thought didn't last longer than a shot of whisky on a friday night at home in the dark, watching reruns of the Twilight Zone.

Suddenly Zorok found the source of all the problems Hell was having, but he can't tell you because it's a secret and it would ruin the entire story im making up right now as i go along..

Zorok took over Hell and went back to the Over World, having left his pride behind, became a better person.

And the Moral of this story is...

Hell isn't half as hot as you might think it is.
Not even close.

hahahaha

I knew you'd come through, friend!

Funny, too. Big smile on my face the whole time.

Fourth well-deserved star and flag for this contest.

ETA - my wife laughed the whole time I read it to her!

Hi-5 transmission successful.

It doesn't take long to share a piece of someone's personality... It takes a long time to wrap it up in duct tape and pass it off as pop music.

7 minutes of genius.

Because only talent combined with opportunity combined with being directed to shoot your closest family member in the face during an examination will beget that kind of reward for writing, music, or acting.

And you could probably ignore the talent part for that.

Hey Neith!!

I gave you a S&F for numerous reasons, lol.

I seriously thought you might be hinting about the "Mandela Effect"...and your mention of the number "11".
Glad to know that there's humour in Hell. (and maybe conspiracy theories too)

I've read all of the stories now. Some I couldn't get all the way through, others I could, but the emotional content didn't bring me to climax, and a few others I enjoyed.

This is my favorite. By far.

I'm a melodramatic type in my writing, serious with strangers, and an odd mixture of Robin Williams and Jim Carrey with my family.

I'm also picky to a fault.

Zorok just became a character I would like to know more about.

This is after careful consideration, of course. The initial enjoyment has turned into curiosity.

Maybe you'll run with this 7 minute inspiration?

Jim Carey in his youth was funniest, and Robin Williams another Icon!

Those aren't even my words. It's my family trying to torture me with simile! But who am I to say who I am?

I mean, what are you? Every surgeon knows how to put us back together; what could really be so different.
