The religion of "peace" strikes again.....

Nope, someone was driving at high speed, on a road and an attempt was made to pull the vehicle over. The vehicle evaded the stop attempt and a chase ensued culminating in a high speed chase and the arrest of the driver of the vehicle.

High speed chases are part and parcel of police work, they happen every day as can be witnessed on loads of fly on the wall programmes like (in the UK - Police Interceptors)

People run from the police for various reasons.

Not necessarily a terrorist attack, thwarted or otherwise. But hey, lets all jump to conclusions

The man is of North African descent and is believed to be a radicalized Muslim

"Different arms were found in the boot, bladed weapons, a pump-action rifle and a container of as yet unidentified liquid,"

Sorry to tell you this, but it was a Muslim terrorist attack.

Well, while I agree with your sentiment of not jumping to conclusions, let's examine (from what was contained in the OP's link) what you conveniently left out:

- He was driving at a high speed on a road known for heavy foot traffic in a manner that caused pedestrians to have to jump out of the way of the vehicle
- An attempt was made to pull the vehicle over by military personnel, and when the driver evaded them and ran a red light to do so, a police rapid response team was deployed and intercept the vehicle.
- inside the vehicle were weapons (multiple knives and a 'riot gun') and an as-of-yet unidentified liquid
- the suspect has been identified as "Mohamed R.," a French national with origins from N. Africa
- the bomb squad had to be called out to inspect the vehicle
- it is the one-year anniversary of the double suicide-bomb attack in Brussels, where 30 people were killed and 300 were injured.

By all means, let's not jump to conclusions, but don't leave out all of this pertinent information, either.

Right, but most don't have multiple knives, a riot gun, and unidentified liquids in the vehicle after speeding through known high-pedestrian areas.

People run from the police for various reasons.

Right, to include attempted murder or intended terrorist activity.

Not necessarily a terrorist attack, thwarted or otherwise. But hey, lets all jump to conclusions

Not necessarily NOT a terrorist attack, thwarted or otherwise. But, hey, let's all just keep ignoring pertinent information while "not jumping to conclusions."
