Thank you,i always have garlic and ginger root in the house, interesting.

Do not give them garlic. It builds toxicity in their blood

The only reason I can think for that is that it was unavailable.
It's been available here since the sixties.
Ask the vet to inquire about it. That web site or google for resources in your area.
Well I read the update so good to know your dog's are covered.
Hoping for the mama to recover.
I had no idea dogs got morning sickness lol.

Well it looks like Lily is going to make it. When she's out of the woods though, she would have to have the equivalent of a D+C

Her pups wouldn't have made it

Yes
But i'm just happy she's home again and recovering nicely. Thanks so much for your kind words and support, very dearly appreciated. She had also a uterine infection so the vet did a d+c type procedure.Poor doggle she's been through a lot this month
Her appetite is returning though and she walks around the yard a bit but i can see she's not yet in full health,it will take a while.I bought some Bob Martin doggy vitamins and give it to her hidden in servings of canned food.

Oh i've heard it
in this little Bush village there's quite a few people who also keep cats, and they can sound truly horrifying. So creepy in the dark, especially on windy nights when it looks creepy outside anyway, the mournful sound of the wind and those tortured wailings.I hate that, cause it always sound like the cats are being ripped limb from limb. And they carry on for Hours. Then just as things start quieting down+ i think they are finished and all gone home it starts up again..

Ha ha yes. My little girl doesn't go outside ever. But she still walks around at night crying for some non existent lover.
