So MAY have been picked up is WAS picked up.

It's to the point that anything said by anyone connected to the government can't be believed. Seems nothing is stated to be certain any more.

Could they at least start adding probability numbers for true to their statements.

Obama was not wiretapping Trump Tower or doing surveillance on Trump for political gain. Trump is simply upset that he is under investigation by the FBI for his ties to Russia and is trying to manipulate people into thinking those investigating his Russian ties are the criminals.

You apparently have no idea what's gone on today.

Why would he go to the president after the press if he was doing damage control?

Lets get this straight...

Snowden and others blow the whistle, and tell the world the US government is spying on everyone.
Wikileaks releases info claiming similar things.
We've all had a suspicion that was the case...

Yet people still find it hard to believe Trump was being spied on too? How stupid can you be?

Rep. Peter King says (on 0'Reilly just now) that according to what he was told by Nunes, he is 99.9% certain that the Trump transition team was placed under surveillance by the Obama administration. This included Trumps daily movements.

Isn't the main issue that has been made is "who did it"?

When he worked with environmentalists to punish them. When he used the EPA to punish them. When he used the IRS to punish them (like 5 different times). When he tried to destroy a journalists career because he was reporting on things he didn't want reported on. Start there.

If there was a FISA warrant (there was), Obama was briefed daily on that intelligence.

Tge article also says this wasnt conducted as the russian collusion investigation
That's not exactly what Nunes said. Who cares what the article says, listen to what he actually said. What he said is that none of the reports he was given mentioned Russia.

Trump tweeted: "How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!"
Nunes says this: "there was not a physical wiretap of Trump Tower" (0:43-46)

OK we're done here right?

I do. Trump is trying to use any ammunition he has to deflect attention from his involvement with Russia. He even has the committee responsible for researching Russia's interference in our election focused on If Obama was putting him under surveillance instead of what they should be focused on - Russia.

Well, there you have it folks. Trumps wires were tapped. Plain as day. Incidental collection is part of the terminology used for executing FISA warrants. As the FISA court is unable to authorize wiretapping of American Citizens, those communications must be incidental and are supposed to be minimalized and deleted. So basically Trump was 100% correct about this.

JUST IN: Devin Nunes says President Trump's personal communications may have been picked up by investigators through "incidental collection"

To insure the president knew before his committee members in order for the white house to follow his lead and not allow other people to upset the story he is spinning.

Posted this on another thread.

So Rep King is on O Reilly saying that he has read what Nunes has.

He says it was not taps on Trump team or him, but conversations from others where Trump or his team were mentioned.

He says this had nothing to do with Russians or any illegal actions. However, instead of masking the names of Trumps teams as is supposed to be done, reports including their names were shared to people. So it would be statements like Trumps team member will be meeting with so and so tomorrow, etc, or gossip about what Trump people have said.

He says there are many examples of this happening.

This is highly illegal and immoral for several reasons. First, a US citizen is not supposed to be "unmasked" in these situations unless there is some kind of criminal activity going on. Secondly, this info was leaked to people it shouldn't have been. Third, it a sitting presidents administration surveilling an opponent, and encouraging the dissemination of that info, which then led to leaks.

Bob Woodward (not a conservative) says that this is not what Trump accused Obama of, but that it is a huge deal and could be criminal.

We know, we know.

As long as Trumps exact words are slightly incorrect, then you have no problem with The Obama administration spying on political opponents and spreading that information as far as possible.

Please provide evidence that President Trump had any "involvement with Russia".

Please provide evidence that Russia affected the outcome of President Trump's victory over Bill Clinton's wife.

Thank you.
