Flynn wasn't tapped. The Russian ambassador he talked to was under routine surveillance because he is from Russia and an ambassador.

It would actually never be possible to "debunk" Trump's claim.

You can only take the IC at their word on pure faith, and they haven't even answered the real question of whether British GCHQ was involved.

Yes they have. If you aren't planning on taking the IC for its word then why even bother having an investigation in the first place? Just have a kangaroo court and throw them all in jail. You've already decided they are guilty anyways right?

It's amazing how different news sources have taken to simply reporting totally different versions of the facts. Not more than 5 minutes ago I heard Hannity say when closing his radio show for the day that they now have evidence Trump was wiretapped.

The proof of Trump's claim is to be found in the records actually collected and filed by the intelligence agencies. Copies of those records have been produced. Those records are very detailed and easily investigated for authenticity. Those records may well be the very reason for Nunes presser today.

The surveillance began back in the Shrub administration, during Trump's flirtation with the Dem party. It continued into the Obama administration. On that basis, Obama can say he didn't order the surveillance and be truthful. So the question is not whether he ordered the snooping but whether he approved the continued surveillance.

Some have suggested that the "probable cause" for this surveillance was merely the fact that Trump used the same bank as some Russian mobsters. I tend to think it was Shrub flexing his brand new Big Brother muscles after the passage of the Patriot Act to check out potential opponents.
