I'm pretty sure propaganda has been around long before Hitler.

If you read the linked article you wouldn't have to repeat that.

To the rest of you, do you know who Anne Frank is?

Anne Frank like the Holocaust, seeks to remind the world the Jews were the biggest victims of WWII. I mean not counting the other 50 million deaths, that is.

Naw, I think I'll keep it up.

"The two principal neo-Nazi organisations in Australia are Blood & Honour (B&H) and the Southern Cross Hammerskins (SCHS)."

Seems you're all too familiar with Nazis, I decided to look some up in "Kangerooland". Pretty interesting stuff.
newmatilda.com...

You know exactly what the poster meant, but answered with a nazi claim, that is "naive" and "foolish" on your part.

Again, what does that have to do with this thread? Is tim allen part of the cite you posted?

www.theatlantic.com...

Maybe they are just raising their hand to get someone's attention, like we are taught to do in school. I know, all the kids raising their hands to get called on are nazis. On the Doctor Oz show he is always asking people if they did something, lots of people raise their hand. They are all Nazi's I guess, boy Oz must attract a lot of Nazi's to his audience..

I hate when things are used out of context, twisted to show something that is not true.

Just raising your right hand isn't enough to count as a Hitlergruß (Hitler greeting). You need to do more than that and on the picture it looks like the posture is wrong. Perhaps they were really lazy or they had no idea how to do it properly. It looks a little bit staged to be honest. I know all of this because every west german school i attended had at least one weird Nazi but they pretty much kept to themselves.

No if you didn't agree w the Nazis you were killed, imprisoned, legitimately labeled an enemy of the state and possibly put in a concentration camp. Big difference.

Guilty conscience?

Do you know what a 'superiority complex' is? Go look it up and make sure you edit your post to save face.

Any sort of public (besides parades of KKK and the such) showing of this sort of Nazi rituals is odd.

Let's face it, Tim Allen did not say Nazi Germany, he said 1930's Germany. I would think he was referring to the violence and loss of rights.

The irony being, the backlash of Tim Allen's comment illustrating exactly what he claimed.

But Trump is still a Nazi right?

Some if his supporters are.

He's not though.

The term "Nazi" is used as a metaphor for Fascist-reactionary thuggery, which is exactly what Allen was saying.

The irony is that the Center for Outrage behaved in an analogous Nazi manner, with public shaming as their bully tactic.

I heard nothing from the Anne Frank society, nor any other society of the kind, speak out about the media's portrayel of Trump as the second coming of Hitler, Mussolini, Mao, Idi Amin, Gaddahfi, Sadam Hussein, Robert Mugabe, etc.

Very good point, it would seem that the less than tolerant leftist at the Ann Frank center are the ones who are looking to squash freedom of speech by false outrage.
