Uh...what's bs about it? I think it's a pretty great example of how the same story can be spun one way or the other depending on how it's said. The main page makes it sound one way and the actual article sounds different in tone.

Not bs at all, and you sound rather hysterical trying to shut it down.

ETA - I took the op to be a highlight of differences in writing about the same thing. If it's something other than that, mea culpa.

These questions will define the Trump presidency and the irony is...It's his own damn fault. This is just the beginning.
Forget the dembs. I doubt if he can survive the BS the GOP is going to lay on him. His arrogance will be his undoing.

But hey at least every TRUMP voter will be better off, soon, at some point, probably, right?

Sorry to tell you that the Trump voters became better off the second that the President nominated Judge Gorsuch to the SC and they will be a lot better off once he is seated, which will happen one way or another. If President Trump's only achievement was this it would leave the Trump voter in so much better shape than if Hillary was elected.

You can attack Hillary and defend Trump all you want, I'm old school, I don't trust anyone in government.

So how will all Americans be better off via Trump? Do tell.

Safer? More cash in their pocket? Drug war won? No more wars, ever..

You're too deep cheerleading to see what is going on.

Projecting that I understand the OP was about something that sailed over your head and you're trying to shut down any kind of conversation?

That's not projecting it's a recitation of fact

Your first link is to the home page, which constantly updates. The second is to a particular article. What is your point?

Investigation does not mean indictment. The FBI is free to investigate me for murder all they like. Even they can't find anything on me since I never committed murder. FBI been investigating Trump since June 2015 and they found nothing. Chances are there is nothing for them to find on Trump.

Failure to indict is not the same as not finding anything. Trump has faced countless civil cases. He never wins, he just settles. The question is whether he has crossed a line into outright criminal activity.

So far they come up with no proof of Russia-Trump but they don't give up yet but on the wiretapping claim they dismiss it outright.... what a bunch of Colluded Hypocrites, I've never seen such blatant corruption in the Democraps or Lamstream parrots...no wonder the American public is tired of them.

The whole (misguided, maybe) point was to highlight that original,
credible news sources can still lead us astray, even unwittingly so

As DJ quite rightly points out, the 1st link is too the rolling news homepage
you'd need to be in the same time frame to see the exact same headlines
as well as the exact same stories

The second link, again as DJ says, does not now have the same impact
(Impact as opposed to 'a particular article')
...
It's another example of quasi-realtime story shaping
...

I followed the Comey thing
My inital reaction was

Investigations ongoing
russian interference ?
maybe Trump team "collaboration" ?

Hmm .. wait, what !?!

Even so, as an editor of a serious news service,
i wouldn't categorically state
"FBI confirm ..."

You'd have to be highly .... 'prescient', with a good lawyer ...
to do so after yesterday's hearings :p

This is by no means a Trump apology
Not by a long chalk

Even so ... who, just who (?)
Tweets lies, whilst 'the court'
is hearing about previous lies
that brought them alltogether in the first place !?!

Really, you're kidding me

Nor a hit piece about 'real news sites' giving into to invented news

It's more about 'the press' counting to 10,
biting it's collective tongue
before printing things (that will be read)

To not go so readily for the clickbait title

Their credibility is already being undermined as it is
Last night's rush by the Beeb to grab the N°1 Google search is a prime example

Pay attention, please. It is known that Guccifer 2.0 had contact with Roger Stone, an associate of Trump's. It is known that Michael Flynn had several contacts with the Russian Ambassador, which he had previously denied. It is known that one of the architects of Trump's campaign, Paul Manafort, was an adviser to Pro-Russian Ukrainian strongman Yanukovytch. While Manafort was on board, Trump had the GOP weaken their stance on the Russian invasion and annexation of Crimea. When Manafort's connections to Russia became public knowledge, he resigned. There was enough probable cause of espionage for FISA grants to be issued.

Everyone acknowledges that members of the Trump campaign were under investigation. This may have included monitoring electronic communications and phone calls. What is being rejected is Donald Trump's claim that President Obama personally ordered Donald Trump's telephone to be tapped. Trump claims to have proof but, as usual, has been unable to provide it.
