I wasn't double speaking.

It's absolutely True that the US leadership and policy making will lead to making America and the entire world either a much better or much worse place.

But the US cannot fix everything, everyone will need to pull their weight. We cant make a perfect world even with complete unity either.

And likewise, the US is not responsible for everything worldwide. Everyone bears a degree of responsibility.

I am being reasonable and fair.

And you gotta admit, the MSM is handling their share of responsibility horribly. They are largely unprofessional and recklessly negligent in the way they present information. They are very bias, inaccurate, out of context, agenda driven, and even totally concoct and push total falsehoods.

I won't disagree. The history of America since at least the Progressive Era has been a trainwreck of government overreach and meddling.

We are playing at big concepts

Hyperbole's are allowed as long as they connected to the core fact. If we take them literally we will make no progress.

"My personal conjecture is that Russian intelligence would have been smart enough to have recorded the meeting.. Making trump their puppet... because if he screws with them, they drop the tape , he goes to prison and putin looks like a super stud for having played the Americans like a fiddle. That is conjecture.. there is no direct evidence for it, but seems like a likely thing."

See this is where your narrative loses credibility. The MSM launched a campaign to destroy Trump, but there is no wrong doing, the MSM has pushed this narrative and created the impression through speculation and innuendo that something illegal took place....and you wish to believe the narrative.

Just be honest, if the MSM had applied the same standard to Hillary and looked under every rock to try and derail her it would have been prison for Hillary. Trump and his chosen cabinet have not committed any crime and until there is evidence of a crime it is nothing more than a concerted effort by media to dictate how the President's administration and tenure is perceived. I deal in fact not supposition and conjecture, save your breath.

Was hillary accused of making a deal at with a competing nations intelligence agency to rig her own presidential election???

The thing is that the system is so rigged that they don't have to break the law to cheat and win..

Pay for play and insider trading was made legal for politicians generations ago..

So she didn't need to break the law to make millions off her name and influence. In fact breaking the law is just stupid when all of that is legal..

Lol.....the media?

I read drudge report for laughs.
If you believe anything....and I mean anything, the media tells you.
You have already lost the game.

I get the op. Really, I do.

This is what the media does to people.

Makes them angry.

With lies and at best half truths.

How does it feel to be manipulated?

Btw.....Long time fan MF...lol.

2 questions for you.
And I will leave you alone.

If you could be instantly teleported to places in say D.C. Where you could spend say two weeks with the big boys. Being briefed and preped for say restructuring of our military intelligence organizations.
You wouldnt be in command.
But a part of some high level think tank. Where your contributions would be compiled with the others, and then implemented.

Hypothetically,

Would you do it?

Do you think your team could change it all?

I don't really have one...

I mostly ignore the buzz words ment to cause a preselected emotional response..

Socialism, communism, fascism , exc , exc

I try and openly look at whatever is proposed, not the part where they call it fascism and tell me I'm supposed to hate whatever policy solely because they called it fascism...

Let's just make sure we don't equate the exercise of power, realpolitik, and nation toppling with moral responsibility. We don't seem to do too well on that aspect.

This is the important thing you said.

The issue remains, Hillary could have made any number of deals with any number of governments....and probably did. Trump has not been charged and there is no evidence...just speculation and innuendo from the MSM. I can see that facts have little impact on your mindset so we will just agree to disagree. I apologize for my lack of patience, generally I am quite tolerant of those with differing opinions but I think I have found a limit.

Not only have we been destabilizing that region for decades, but we literally helped depose (comparatively) secular leaders to install despots, because it was our calculation that Jihadism was a more potent foil for what we perceived as aggressively spreading Marxism after WW2 and during the ensuing Cold War. (See operations Boot and AJAX, among other instances.) Possibly, in the long term, the greatest blunder in our intelligence and foreign policy history.

Then there is the Saudi defense agreement as a linchpin of the petrodollar. It is likely this that ensures Saudi Arabia - one of the most oppressive regimes in the region with respect to women's rights, LGBT rights, and other issues, as well as the wellspring of Wahhabism; a regime less secular than Iran - is not and probably will not be included in the immigration restrictions currently being enforced.

And the damning thing is, this policy doctrine is one we - under various guises - keep repeating in the region to this day. Then to compound this, we engage in repeated military misadventures in the region, destroy the infrastructure and livability of these nations, then act aghast when floods of refugees flee the war zones we either created, or participated in creating. But all we have to do to ensure popular support domestically for all of this, is say the word "terrorism" and lo and behold: everyone (or at least enough people) thinks these machinations are fantastic and necessary ideas.

I would say, "Oops!" except that we seem to know damn well exactly what we're doing and what the outcomes are likely to be... which is even more regrettable imho.

I say this not to bash my country. I love my country. But it's alright to call a spade a spade imo, and if I love my country, I have to want to see it improve itself, right?

Peace.
