Just a quick one, as I need to put this to bed. I've lost count of the amount of times I've seen on here, and on social media, where Trump's cultists say "LOL TYPICAL LIBERAL" (along with some cringeworthy overused 4chan meme) to anyone making a comment not supportive of Trump.

So let's clarify this for you.

I am not pro Trump.

I am also not a Liberal.

I have some liberal opinions, and some conservative opinions. There are simply too many issues at stake to land firmly on either side of the fence for me (hence the name). Many others are in the same boat.

So stop being lazy. Just because someone questions the POTUS (as anyone with any sense would do; you should always question leadership and hold them accountable, regardless of country/political leaning) it does not make them a liberal, a libtard, a leftard, a shill, pro-Hillary, pro-Obama, a socialist, a communist, an SJW, a cuck, triggered, a snowflake, a traitor, unpatriotic, a globalist, pro-Soros, or any of your other clichés. It's lazy. Stop being lazy.

Ok, let's get back to the politics.

Also the term lefties, leftards, commies etc...on these boards.

People talk like 100% of republicans or conservators support trump.

The political spectrum of far left to far right is not too well understood by trump's fans.

If I wanted to market an item I would create as much public controversy about it as I could. Conflict sells...

something those who market politics and personage have developed to a fine science.

You just ate the red pill.

I personally find all posts that contain childish insults null and void. From either side. I see you only mention one side's argument and leave out 'Trumpets' and 'Nazis' that Trump supporters are regularly called. That's convenient.

You are just the same by making a distinction. The best thing to do is have solid arguments and bring them forward without using playground insults. Only then a decent discussion can follow.

Im absolutely not the same since ive never used such terms but nice try.

Op's topic is about trump's fanbase using certain labels to describe whoever does not agree with trump.

If you want to make a thread about the anti-trump people calling you a nazi, sexist, facsist etc... Thats another conversation.

Amen to that. It's depressing to imagine living in the black-and-white world of the retarded masses, and demoralizing to be constantly (and errantly) lumped in with either one.

I feel the same way. I'm a registered independent voter and I get tired of seeing Trump supporters attacking anyone who disagrees with him. Heck, I can agree with some of Trump's stance on issues, but I'm not going to have that cloud my judgement on how dangerous his chronic lies, empty accusations, immaturity, and some of his stance on issues is affecting his credibility in our country and on the world stage. I didn't paint Obama with a broad brush of acceptance, and called him out numerous times on his policies.

When you used the term "Trump Cultists," I had to laugh because it does seem like a cult. They're in denial even when he's caught on video lying or flip-flopping on an issue! Many of his supporters blindly ignore his faults and outrageous rhetoric. They jump on board calling everything "Fake News" when the media calls out Trump's outrageous rhetoric. They even fall-in-line resorting to name-calling just like Trump. They continue to twist his words to excuse his lies and crazy statements.

The continued use of name calling liberals or anyone else who disagrees with Trump (which falls in-line with Trump's name calling, lol), really shows a level of immaturity and desperation to justify their support for Trump. It amazes me when they use the term "snowflake" to describe liberals when Trump surely doesn't take a back seat when he's offended when someone criticizes him!

No politician deserves complete and unwavering support. They all politically cater to their personal beliefs and don't always concern themselves with the majority of constituents in which they represent.

We're living in crazy times.

You lean to the left

You put your right opinion in
You take your right opinion out
You put your right opinion in
And you shake it all about
You do the hokey pokey
And you turn yourself around
That's what it's all about..

*Claps* bravo, you'll chastise use, namely the right by starting your post off with general left terms. I didn't see any vindication or examples of right terms. I didn't see my favorite one up there, "deplorables", now why is that? I can tell you why, you lean left.

Influences are funny because you don't know that you're doing it till somebody takes a critical approach to your post.

A neutral position would have considered all of these things, don't be so foolishly naive thinking your advocating some worthy clause, you're wallowing in mud as we speak. Speaking up, why the mudpit? unless you anticipated your errors?

No Star No Flag.

When I use the liberal label on someone it is always because that person is supporting one of the usual liberal causes, agendas, or they are parroting the liberal media's propaganda messages. I am very glad Trump is there and causing the shakeup because that is only thing that can lead to reform in government since mutual understanding seems to be almost out the window between parties. The democrat party is being called out as completely phony and they are indeed that.

I do not support every single thing Trump is doing, but also should say that what he is doing is not always what is being reported that he is doing. So far about 85% of what he is doing is being represented as different or deceptive to what he is actually doing and the left and others are falling for that and attacking him and then being lumped in as liberals.

It is a circus.
