He looked like a fine companion. You're lucky to have had his company for so long.

Keep him alive by memory that way he'll be with you even more if not by you from the other side. Also, give yourself as much time as possible to grieve. Maybe sometime in the future a new companion may grip your heat.

He was your friend and family member for so many good years.

In spite of the sad circumstances, your story made me smile...dogs have such personalities.

It breaks my heart to know you've lost your best friend. You gave him an excellent doggy life full of love and dog things though, so you've done him well.
