Then they should have got the poop in a group before going after him. Not after.

Trump already made his attack. You're supposed to get your ducks in a row first not after. That's the whole point.

You don't attack and then get your sh*t organized. You do it the other way around.

What happened here is Trump attacked and now they're running around trying to justify it. It's a classic example of getting the cart before the horse.

You're still not getting it.

The justification for what Trump is saying and doing should have already been established before he acted, not after.

What we have here is him acting then afterward trying to justify his actions. That's not how it's done.

Even if it comes out that his Theory was correct, at the time he acted it would still have just been a theory. If you act and then later you find out it was justified it still doesn't change the fact that when you acted you did so on a hunch and just got lucky you were right.

Or Trump's admin gave them the info and now they are checking it out. How cooperative do you think Obama is going to be?

This isn't a microwave story, it is a slow oven roasted story. Your patience is going to be required.

No this is a story about a minor little mistake that is being covered up in a massive cover up which is way worse than the initial mistake.

At the very start he should of just said, "I didn't mean it was a fact, it is just a theory." Then he could still investigate and take all the time he needed.

But he's insisting he knew something he didn't and couldn't prove so no he's making everyone run around trying to prove him right any way they can and wasting massive time and money on covering his little stupid lie because he won't just admit to the tiniest little mistake.

This is the kind of BS that destroys whole nations. Pride. Unchecked, ego and Pride. The willingness to change everything, even reality itself so that reality fits the lies coming out of someone's mouth because they refuse to admit they were wrong, even about the smallest little thing.

What they have done to Trump is an abomination.

How dare they make trump make a deal with Russian intelligence to leak Documents of US officials as counter intel on trumps political opponents in exchange for lifting sanctions and giving putin Ukraine..

Shame..

We can only imagine the infighting going on inside the DOJ this week.

Most of any "evidence" is long gone and covered up.

They had from Nov 9th to Jan 19th to do it.

But maybe somebody has "copies" and maybe some people deliberately "mis-filed" some info to find later.

If that's true, then yes he should have just said it was in quotes, meaning any number of things.

But you are jumping the gun, cool your jets. The truth will come out.

Exactly! Steve Bannon whispers sweet paranoia into Trumpy's ear, and he goes "Tweet Crazy" making claims and accusations. Then calls on the Justice Department and a Congressional Committee to prove his claims, like 3-5 million illegal votes and the National Parks Dept conspired to make his inauguration look small!

These wild accusations are merely deflection away from the call for an investigation and a special prosecuter, into the Trump Campaign's Russian connection. Trump is looking guiltier and guiltier.

No presidential candidate has ever boarded Air Force One until Obama had Hillary do that in the 2016 election. I believe something is definitely there. All they have to do is look.

WTF? You just make stuff up like brain flatulence?

Uhhh..Here...let me rub two brain cells together and see what happens...Just spit-balling some potential reality..

Pres. Bush Senior was Vice President to Ronald Reagan...and you are saying that during the year plus he ran for office to become President, while he was also VP...he didn't ride Airforce One as Vice President of the USA?

the only thing I hate more than lies is STUPID lies.

Spicer is in the unfortunate position of defending a mentally ill persons tweets.

Not much more to this story beyond that.

I'm not jumping the gun.

We've been waiting over a week for one simple piece of evidence which Trump should already possess and should have been able to show the moment he made that accusation public.

That's it.

Whatever that mystery evidence is that he knows that NOBODY else apparently knows shouldn't have to be discovered, because he should already have it because that is what allowed him to claim his accusation was a fact!!!

Do you not see it???

He didn't know sh*t. He assumed he was correct but didn't know. Now, perhaps he really was correct in his assumption in which case he's very lucky. But that is still different than what he claimed. He claimed to Know something he didn't really know. That is called a lie.

It's no different than WMD's in Iraq. Bush thought they were there based on some evidence. He went to war because of it. Turned out he was wrong. He should have made sure he was right first before making the claim.

That is how you do things. You don't make accusaations you believe are correct and then set out to prove them. You prove them first so when you make the accusation, you already know you're correct.

Is it really that hard to believe that there was a wire tap?
No.

Like Ron Paul was saying in another thread, they don't need any fancy paperwork or signatures and they've pretty much got one on all of us.
Actually, they do need signatures.

And the Trump needs to produce evidence that Obama committed a very serious crime while in office.

Maybe it was the Russians who tapped his phone.

So you are saying that the democrats colluded with the Russians to provide evidence against the Republican candidate in an attempt to sway the election?

Assuming that posting a 140-character tweet is much of an action.

Yes, accusing the former president of illegal activity is an action.

Ironic that it should come from someone who is hypersensitive to criticism (and will be "opening up" libel laws).

How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!

My opinion is that if Trump wrote something he knows something. But Twitter was no place to air this one out, a press conference would have been much better.

But there may be classified tech being used and that may limit what we are going to be able to be told.

Which is also something to consider. Which is why I said, right from the start he could have just deflated the whole thing by saying "Hey it's just me tweeting out of anger." or "Hey I was drinking that night with Bannon and said some stuff that was maybe not 100% right." Anything. But he double and tripled down on it that for sure he's right and made it into a giant rush to find some way, anyway to make him correct now.

It's the folly fo too much pride. Too much ego to admit to the smallest misstep so all effort goes into making reality somehow fit the fantasy of the ego.

So the Democratic party and Liberals had all of their "ducks in a row" before making baseless accusations that Trump was in collusion with the Russians or worse was a Russian agent?

He tweeted something. That seems to me to be the extent of it.
