Sorry. Of course it wasn't. Just majorly PO'd right now that virtually every thread on this board gets reduced to a polarized (non)discussion about Democrats and Republicans, and a "for or against" poll. And especially that said reduction is supported, encouraged and promoted by many mods.

...As far as jobs disappearing - servicing will be around for a while, but nowhere near forever. Most jobs ARE disappearing and the pace is accelerating. Some will be able to re-train and keep dancing, most won't.

C'est la vie. It is what it is.

Uh huh. To the extent that there is NO point even trying to discuss anything else.

Yup. You got it!

There is NO global trend to automation and if there is, Who cares?!

Everything is all about Republicans v/s Democrats. Voting for the winning Party. Being on the the winning side.

There. Is. Nothing. Else. To. Discuss.

So might as well move along now. Nothing to see here.

Perhaps you misinterpreted the meaning of my post. When I said:

Hehe...California...worker friendly...that's funny.

I simply meant:
Hehe...California...worker friendly...that's funny.
By which I meant to express my view that I find the notion that California is worker friendly to be absurd. I was not trying to imply or state anything about anything else, just exactly what was in the actual statement that I made.

Great way to stay on topic. Which is what my response was about.

Carry on.
