Yes we are. The repeating is the problem (IMO).

Thanks for the OP, nothing seems to bring folks together more than reminiscing on classic MP bits. What's interesting is that when they first came out they were all kind of instant classics. The parroting started the day after people saw the movie for the first time. I don't think I've heard people quote movie bits more than they do with MP and it usually brings a smile to all in the vicinity.

1) I have had many nicknames, and some of them I would prefer not to be known. Especially the one I brought upon myself in childhood by mispronouncing my own name. College flatmates called me "the Whizz", because I did everything fast (except talk). When I grew a beard, teenage visitors to a church coffee-bar nicknamed me "Catweazle"- a bearded TV character of some kind, apparently.
2) My quest is to be a big fish in a small pool.
3) In childhood, again, I told my family that my favourite colour was green. This was really just patriotic loyalty, because I belonged to the "green team" at school, but it brought me a lot of green jumpers in the years to come.

And as Wallace says to Gromit- "How can you eat crackers without cheese?"

To be honest, I'm not bothered enough about visual things to have a real favourite colour. Though looking over my back garden, I prefer it NOT to be uniformly green, but to have a variety of colours- yellow, red, whatever the plant life can provide.

As for the other question, this is a proverbial metaphor for being significant within a very limited field.

Liquid cheese is some of the best cheese. Pub cheese is another great variance of cheese. Cheese wiz, although it is absolutely terrible for you, is also so damn good.
