Yeah when has a sitting supreme court justice had to apologize?
www.npr.org...

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has apologized for what she called "ill-advised" comments she made earlier this week criticizing presumptive Republican presidential nominee. "On reflection, my recent remarks in response to press inquiries were ill-advised and I regret making them," Ginsburg said in a statement Thursday morning. "Judges should avoid commenting on a candidate for public office. In the future I will be more circumspect."

What does any of that have to do with Chief Justice Roberts again?

You seem literally desperate to distract from that point.

You don't want the investigation to go any further, that seems clear.

Why is that (I ask for the 8th time)?

Does that have anything to do with the Chief Justice?

Maybe you'll answer the question ... why are you guys so terrified of an independent investigation?

What was true THEN isn't necessarily true now.

Please provide evidence that disputes clapper then.....
With your HIGH standard you have actual evidence right?

Littered throughout this thread I have stated multiple times I am all for all the investigation you would like.
That will not change.
Like you I would like to see any who broke the law prosecuted to the fullest extent.

Did you not say that the Chief Justice should pick an investigative team and that the Executive and legislative branch are suspect?

The investigation is continuing, rightly so, and Nunes is literally updating the American people on a daily basis.
It's more transparent than any investigation I can remember.

I don't have any outside of the fact that the investigation continues and statements have been made saying there IS evidence now. Until that evidence is released though, I cannot provide it to you. All I know is that Clapper's words may not be true anymore. But then again he could still be correct.

But YOU are being very dishonest by pretending like Clapper's words are the definitive words on the matter. Until the investigation is over, as I said previously, saying no evidence of collusion exists is premature at the least.

No, the committee voted to cancel the open hearing. Nunes announced it, and Schiff then came out to cry about it.

Yes.

Unlike you, I actually watched the press conferences today instead of reading fake news.

Here is Schiff:
www.c-span.org.../representative-schiff-calls-intelligence-chairs-decision-cancel-open-hearing-serious-mistake

Nunes is the Chairman of the Committee by the way.

Here is his announcement, before Schiff's.
www.voanews.com...

At least make an effort to understand what actually happened before spreading drivel.

Yeah, Nunes made it clear he was postponing to allow a closed hearing with Rogers and Comey on Tuesday.
Schiff then came out 45 minutes later to cry and urge people to contact the Republicans on the committee to get them to change their vote and reinstate the open hearing.

Then what problems are you having with my evidence gathering and analysis? Be specific so I know how to refute your allegations. Stop being vague and pretending you won just because I don't answer the way you want me to.

As it stands I'm not doubting Clappers words like you accused me of. I'm withholding my judgement that collusion exists between Russia and Trump, but since the investigation continues I am keeping an open mind about the possibility, and I have completely written off Trump's claim about him being wiretapped as it has been refuted by every person in the government who would know. What's wrong with my evidence analysis given the information released so far?
