If. If. If. There was no evidence he did. And even if he donated to the Trump campaign, it was legal. Putting a FISA on an Israeli, you will be sorry.

Can the President order the FBI Director to conduct monitoring on individuals (foreign or domestic?)

within the confines of the law I would say yes.

Who do you think Trump should replace Priebus with? Anyone have any ideas..? (let's assume that Trump got onto this thread just for fun)

If he is to replace Reince, which I doubt, could replace with his daughter. BTW, Reince is Greek orthodox, that's fairly friendly to Russia.

Here's a fun video with Tucker debating congressman Himes on this subject. It's a lot like the back and forth here in this thread lol!

I would think that would have to be documented in some way ... as an Order or something.

Anyway, thanks for the very complete education. I appreciate the time you took, and I apologize for any rudeness I've shown you today (or any other). I tend to get the bit in my teeth at times.)

Actually I am suggesting they were spying on Trump / Trump associates for political dirt. The warrants, imo, were there on the off chance they found something they could prosecute, which we both can agree would end the persons run for president. Its also possible the warrants were there on the off chance they were discovered spying on trump / trump people. FISA stuff is classified so if clinton was elected no one would have known what occurred. When she lost, her side panicked and we are where we are now.

I believe the focus on trump was purely political. I firmly believe if the obama government found illegal activity they would have prosecuted trump / trump people.

That did not happen...

Right. It still seems to me that the simplest way in would be through the Russians.

Thanks again.

the applications for a warrant / FISA warrant and the required documentation. The talking heads on tv stated if the aw was followed then there is an easy paper trail to find / follow. If there is not one then, houston, we have a problem.

Possibly however we know Putin and Obama did not get along and Putin is not fond of clinton after she accused him of rigging the last russian presidential elections. If russia colluded with obama / clinton, and knowing their track record on not taking responsibility for their own actions, obama / clinton would be the first to throw russia under the bus to save themselves.

This way they can just blame Russia.

just my opinion though.

I don't think Putin and Obama were hostile to each other. They did have that very famous reset. Russia is a socialist country. Big government. Big public sector. Free college. Free healthcare. Cheap public housing. Free electricity. Free water. Russia is the role model of Democrats.

BTW, can anyone answer me why Putin would prefer Trump to Clinton in the first place? I would find such a notion extremely odd.

Seems you easily justify surveillance of potential candidates for presidential office as one only needs a way in as it were.

There's no doubt of your dislike for Trump but what if this happened or happens in future someone you did or do support.

Other posters have pointed out, I think correctly, had there been illegality charges would have been filed knocking Trump out of race - I have no doubt that would have been case.

Instead it's very obvious that snippets of illegally released info is being spoon fed to MSM in effort to discredit Trump and administration.

The whole thing sets very bad precedent and is road this nation should not take.

Trump hate aside everyone should be outraged at abuse of power this subject suggests.

Neat theory. Although it has many holes in it, too many assumptions and is mostly wishful thinking.

But hey, we're all allowed to dream right?? So keep dreaming friend.

Because Clinton knows what she's doing and how to wield the power of Government with an iron fist.

Putin was afraid of Clinton and what she might end up doing when in power.

He's not afraid of Trump though and knows he doesn't know what he's doing.

Had to change names already????

New York Times confirms wiretap transcripts provided to the White House.

NYT - Jan 19th - Intercepted Russian Communications Part of Inquiry Into Trump Associates (the day before inauguration)

The F.B.I. is leading the investigations, aided by the National Security Agency, the C.I.A. and the Treasury Department’s financial crimes unit. The investigators have accelerated their efforts in recent weeks but have found no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, the officials said. One official said intelligence reports based on some of the wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House.

Clinton is a globalist, Trump is a nationalist. The globalists are hell bent on destroying Russia, whereas a U.S. nationalist has much better things to worry about than bringing forth WW3 for the benefit of the global elite.

Nope, I didn't justify anything.

My like or dislike of Trump is irrelevant to any argument I've made today.

If info was recorded and if it is being leaked ... then it is evidence of something.

Your line of reasoning only makes sense if neither Trump, nor any of his regular or campaign staff, were under investigation.

If they were (with appropriate warrants) then it's not a matter of anything but law enforcement doing its job.
