This from attorney Robert Barnes, on attorney Dan Abrams’ site – Law Newz.

If the stories are correct, Obama or his officials might even face prosecution.

And...

Here are the problematic aspects of the Obama surveillance on Trump’s team, and on Trump himself. First, it is not apparent FISA could ever be invoked. Second, it is possible Obama’s team may have perjured themselves before the FISA court by withholding material information essential to the FISA court’s willingness to permit the government surveillance. Third, it could be that Obama’s team illegally disseminated and disclosed FISA information in direct violation of the statute precisely prohibiting such dissemination and disclosure. FISA prohibits, under criminal penalty, Obama’s team from doing any of the three.

So far everyone thinks this was a trump delusion based on a conspiracy website claim.

Well, the house intel committee doesn't seem to dismiss it that easily. The American public seems pretty interested. The evidence so far does beg clarification and investigation. As such, it looks we will all get to hear testimony from some of our favorite sellouts and decide for ourselves. Sweet. America is getting greater again already.

James Comey has not said anything has he.

That's like a mantra with you guys ...

What will you say when he does?

Are you ready to discredit him (again?)

Sure.

All we need is a news conference.

Comey hasn't said anything yet.

I will see your friend and raise you the highest-level NSA whistleblower in history - Bill Binney.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Who was dismissed or "retired" because of crazy conspiracy theories? And has since claimed that he would have been able to prevent major terrorist attacks because ... well, him.

Do some research on him before you sing his praises too loudly.

Ah, there it is... the smearing just because he isn't saying something you like. I am aware of the smears. I see through them and focus on his experience, and that tells me that he knows so much more than you on the subject.

I encouraged you to do some reasearch on him ... and that's smearing? Whatever. Like most of us, you see what you want to see.

He knows so much more than me? LOL. Yeah, that's relevant to his reliability.

Shall we start making comparisons between the experience of the folks you have criticism for and you?

You can do better than that. Seriously.

I encourage you to do the same before smearing people who you yourself don't know much about - evidenced by your opening gambit, which is incorrect.

I for one will believe him if he comes out and says the FBI did not tap Trumps phone to his knowledge, unless Trump can provide some sort of evidence.

This doesn't mean the DOJ or NSA or some other group wasn't tapping or otherwise surveilling Trump or his people.

BTW, find any evidence of me being hypocritical on this thread yet? Or were you just lying?

At some point all of us. You'd have to make a request. I'm not sure of the timeline but I know that all communique needs to be archived. That is where the FBI found some of the work related emails that were deleted from Clinton's server. The copies had been sent to the state department.

this has been going on in real time since the 90s

it is a non partisan issue
all us citizens should want to know what nixon did pwill not be repeated

Not really.

If you're smart enough to use routing and encryption techniques, unless you have all the computing power in the world, it would be uncompromised.

A perfect example of this would be the algorithms designed around BOT-NET and the immense DDoS'es that can ensue from them. To say it's almost impossible to track down (much less capture) the perpetrators of BOT-NET would be an understatement.

LOL .. I know plenty about Mr. Binney. Obviously you do as well, and have chosen to ignore it in light of his value as a "NSA specialist" for Fox News and the rest of the Echo Chamber you subscribe to.

Evidenced by my "opening gambit" ... okay Chuckles, prove what I know (and don't now) about Mr. Binney.

Gambler, you really should stop. You're embarrassing yourself. This obsession you have with my posts is unhealthy.

I know it's hard to accept, but this thread is not about you and me. For your own good, I'll be ignoring you henceforth.

Get some help.

Once again. The were monitoring Sergey Kislyac. They got Flynn in that scope.
Why don't you write that down. You've been told but you keep forgetting it.

This article is damning if any of Trumps allegations are true. Everyone should read it.

Wasn't it around October when someone leaked Donald Trumps '95 Tax return? Wasn't it claimed, if memory serves correctly, the envelope had "Trump Tower" when it was sent? Given the time frame, it does become suspicious. Also, I recall someone climbing Trump Tower back in Aug with suction cups. Could that have been a diversion? Who knows?
Then the rumour flew that in October some kind of investigation was ongoing with regards to the FISA court. Someone is trying to either "Frame" this or there is something more to this.

We talked about that guy here on ATS. I always thought there was something very suspicious at the time....either a diversion or he planted something somewhere. I'm thinking probably a diversion. Security was probably pulled away from their normal stations while this event went on for three hours.

Including this info for this thread re the man that climbed Trump Tower last summer:

He was considered super smart...was in the "gifted and talented" program, yet supposedly dropped out of high school....his parents were overseas when he drove the 250 miles to NY to climb Trump Tower...He had at least two ID's....the news media reported an "official story" with many unsubstantiated "facts" as they usually do.

Red flag for me: He and his family lived in Langley, VA., another name for CIA central.

Oh you mean that guy that visited the White House 22 times ?

Instead of wire trapping private citizens why didn't OBama just ask him.

It's not damning as much as it has now become litigatable.

The battle that would take place following any litigation, would likely take so many years, people would forget what they're fighting about.

Finding proof of the claim would be damn tough.

How many more blog articles composed of "may haves" and "it could bes" are we going to be subjected to here?

We're going to have another Congressional Sideshow coming up on this ... I look forward to seeing Mr. Obama in the bully pulpit again.

At least he can make complete sentences and express coherent thoughts ... unlike Trump.

How long before they start making that claim do you think?

LOL.

Most of his acolytes already think he is specially ordained by God Himself.
