During the campaign his antics amused me greatly. It's a time honoured British tradition to take humour in the behaviour of American political figures.

A big plus was he had many campaign positions I agreed with, some not so much but you gotta take the good with the bad at the end of the day. I saw his election as a Nationalist backlash against the pro-corporate, globalist "establishment" candidates that were running. Much like the Brexit referendum, and Le Pen's soon to be electoral victory in France.
