The question is will the democrats, or will they run the obstruction game to the max for political points.
Here is the thing when the GOP did it they picked up seats and power, I don't see that the country is ready to do that again.
2018 election will tell the tale. But when blue states are flipping to red all over the place, the best thing they can do is work for the things that will better America and oppose those that won't, and be able to say to their voters I tried to be the best leader for all Americans in my state regardless of political affiliation.

No one believes Trump has changed overnight... but oh, they WANT TO BELIEVE IT!! All trump did last night was prove how much the american people love to be lied too. We all KNOW our politicians LIE...but BY GAWD,, they had BETTER be GOOD at it.

We are not being allowed to heal, and this is being done on purpose. The demolition is being done from within and it is creating issues that I thought were long put to rest.

I see the alt-left being whipped into an emotional frenzy, yet they cannot put forth what their issues are. They use words like "racist", Homophobe", Xenophobe", and whatever other -phobe words they can muster up. They scream "FACISM" while wearing a Chinese flag as a scarf to hide their face. There was a reason we were fed Nazi movies and TV shows for the past 5 years or so.....there have been other wars, but only one was gone over ad nauseum. Any wonder these zombies run around calling everybody a Nazi?

The brain washing began several years ago, separating people out by sexual orientation, race, class, education level, you name it.

Then began the attack of religion and skin color. Reparations. White guilt. The south was again attacked and shamed. Words were fed via the mainstream media until everybody was saying them.

So here we have it, folks. Women in this country told that they are horrifically oppressed, and that white men are the cause. Illegal aliens are allowed to be here in violation of federal law, and we're not just talking south of the border people. Basically all of this nonsense is to split us in half.

Half of us are mad as all get out at the other half, because we've been brainwashed, played, and shamed.

This has grown like an aggressive cancer, and when you have a country where somebody cannot even wear a T-shirt with the current president's name on it without being beaten to a bloody pulp, all it takes is one spark....that one thing that will make one side or the other take up their weapons and explode in rage.

Surgery hurts. Birth hurts....and yes, the Tree of Liberty must occasionally be watered by the blood of patriots. Who those patriots are, is a matter of opinion. Somebody will water that tree, God help us.

We'll heal. Eventually. But will we ever be the same again?

History demonstrates that Americans are lovers of war and conflicts. If there's no country on the near horizon for us to attack, we'll turn on each other. It seems that this is our nature. We're more like the Mideast radicals than we're willing to admit.

Congatulations a rare accurate assessment in this post truth age,my younger brother is a liberal and in the last 5 years unfortunately he has become increasingly stupider and illogical in his thought processes you are dealing with brainwashing,all you need is a half dozen facts and you will be called a fascist,racist,homophobe,islamaphobe or whatever,I don't know where they get their head full of garbage from -social media perhaps- but its got to be identified and dealt with before the Western world collapses.

I have the sad feeling it is too late. This is beyond logic, beyond the ballot box, but not beyond bullets. I feel your pain. My two grown children are liberals who spout the same idiocy yet cannot lay out their case as to why they feel Trump is a dangerous person but Hillary (who is on RECORD for saying her first act as president was to immediately attack Iran) is a sweet old grandma who loves everybody. Where did they get this fantasy from? You can't blame this one on Disney.

My kids are highly educated but all they can say is Donald is a racist, a homophobe, he hates immigrants (the fact that he's married to one flies right over their snowflake heads), and he'll grab any body's puddy tat he can. Alrighty then. How do you fix THAT kind of garbled neuron damage?

And yet there is a place on the internet where amazingly republicans, democrats, homosexuals, libertarians, atheists, Christians, women, and blacks and Latinos are all getting along very well for the first time, there is about 375,000 them now. It is a micro measurement of what could be if it is allowed to spread, and I think it has TPTB very worried.

The site felt forced to use special programing algorithms to virtually censor their own community to stop it from spreading, anybody that knows the social aspect of the internet knows what I am talking about too.
This false narrative created both by social media and the MSM is why Trump won, they purposfully were misdirecting data to try and shape the outcome, it had worked for decades so why not again.

Fake News was real from both sides, but nothing says fake news like this; the morning of the election Trump had 1.7% chance to win according to those that wanted Hillary to win, that was their reality, one they invented, their perception was their reality, for them nothing has changed except that loss, they are still living in a perception based fantasy of their own creation, when people break free of that, then they will understand.


Thankfully many democrats on that other site/side are bailing out from the alt-left because they have begun to eat their own, especially centrists that are democrats, they can't function within that toxic environment and are getting out, some might never go back too.

And I want to see how that works out for the democratic politicians in blue states that just flipped red in 2018, because I think Trump will go back into full blown election mode to take those guys out, if the democrats lose big in 2018 everybody is going to fully understand the days for obstructionism are over and even democrat voters want it over.
Then they will be trapped between a rock and hard place, facing even further devastation in 2020.

If a democrat voted for Trump stuff I could even see Trump supporting them, or least not specifically targeting them at election time.

Division will happen regardless. Either states push back towards being blue, or they go further red, in which case we become a 1 party nation with the fights happening over party direction. For example the Trump wing vs the Tea Party vs the establishment Republicans... that's already a 3 way split.
