It's also good to remember here that when Hillary's testimony was being razed as untruthful, and AG Lynch did her foolish airport meeting, so many here were advocates of "zero tolerance" and "the law is the law" and "there should be no hint of impropriety" ... are now saying the exact opposite.

Not just folks on ATS...

Sessions at the time called for an independent counsel...

Sessions cited Lynch-Clinton meeting in calling for special prosecutor in email investigation
www.cnn.com...

Principles only mean something if you stick by them when they are inconvenient.

Oh stop. That doesn't help your argument one bit. You know it.
She didn't meet in capacity of the armed services committee. None on the committee did.
None but Sessions . During the height of the Russian hacking investigation.

Sounds like they are expecting him to recuse himself shortly.

Well, there ya go. Recusal...because it simply makes sense in this situation.

Good on him, and his staff that proposed recusal.

Loretta Lynch could learn a lot from this event.

Is it too soon to get greedy and ask for an independent non-partisan special counsel to investigate like White-water?

'Scuse me all ... I've got to go buy some lottery tickets.

(Good on AG Sessions for recusal at least.)

Ok get over it. It's really irrelevant. The meeting wasn't in regards to any armed services committee business.
Now he's saying they talked about how sessions visited Russia with a church group as a child. Terrorism, the Ukraine...Blah blah. Yeah ok. They called for a meeting to talk about that.

Yeah. I have to give him credit for that. Recusal was the good call.

I am not fully happy with his repeated "I don't recall" when asked if they discussed campaign issues or politics etc.

I think I have counted 5 "I don't recalls" so far..

He needs to resign. If Flynn had to go, so does Sessions. I won't EVER trust him, and neither should anyone else.
He. Lied. Under. Oath.

Hillary never lied under oath. Find it show me. Never happened.

There are two books on a shelf in the Oval Office. One is thin, and other thick.

The thin book is the list of appointees who haven't lied about their contacts with the Russian government during the presidential campaign.

I'll take the small bite of his recusal...

But having just finished watching the full press briefer..He looked more and more like he was trying to throw the press a bone with his recusal in hopes it would go away...Lot's of "I don't recall" in Q&A..

He might trust Comey to keep him safe while he recuses himself...Let's see where it goes..

Right? Because why discuss the present when you can build a perfectly good strawman out of the past?

An Optimist would say...score one for ethics!
A Pessimist would say...this now confirms that they have Comey fully in their pocket.

An independent counsel would do a great deal to make this more transparent and less partisan.

The DNC and the democrats have sold us out to globalists and neocons behind closed doors for 30 years all the while claiming to be the champion of the working class (WHAT A JOKE!!!). THEY should resign for their treason before pointing fingers at anyone else.
