Ah. I guess you know how the Democrats and liberal centrists have felt the past eight years.

Seriously. 8 years of nothing but obstruction and delegitimization attempts by the Reps and they expect the Dems to bow and hold hands with them now?

Now? When the right is making zero effort to compromise?

Perhaps what you really mean is that you are disappointed they they are no better than their Republican counterparts.

Dems had all 3 Branches when Obama was in charge + the Media I fail to understand your logic. Republicans dont have the Media on there side and never have had them on there side. I fail to understand your logic about how the GOP obstructed Obama. If they did Obstruct him they were called Racist for disagreeing with his Policies and quickly caved to the pressure.

Why are you so triggered about how people listen to a speech?

Perhaps it's because they are our Elected Officials and not just some random nobodies sherlock

again
not emperor
not king
not god
not supreme leader

You forgot the most important one: Elected Official.

just cause he was elected does not mean he is remarkable or magnificent

Give me a break, both parties are broken. Parties were never supposed to be part of American politics as it is poison.

The Republicans haven't gotten on of their own elected since Bush. Woof.

Your right on that. Theres also another point to be made is that you're not supposed to make a Life time Career about being a Public Servant. You're supposed to serve to help your community solve a problem and then move back into the private sector. Career Politicians are something that the Founders did not want to have in are Republic. Thats why Trump winning was such a big deal. It proved that someone who has never been a Public Servant or a Career Politician can make it to the very top and still do a good job if not better then a Career Politician who has never worked in the private sector.

Republicans never applauded Obama's great lines or stood in ovation for his points, plans or efforts. What a selective memory tRumpsters have! Have they forgotten the incredible and unprecedented disrespect they gave to Obama, including heckling and accusations of lying during his addresses.

At some point, we likely have passed it, the anti-Trump protesters start turning people who are on the fence to be MORE favorable towards Trump.  These wackos are alienating the middle of the road voter, just like when Reagan was president.  He is keeping the focus on the "dishonest media" which is amazing politics, first it's true and everyone knows it, and second it causes everyone to second guess the anti trump news stories

Really? National Memo, Ourfuture.org, and Huffington? I suspect the Right would have been more compromising with President Obama had he wanted to even try to compromise. But when from the start he can't even say the words radical Islamic terrorist when the perpetrators were, in fact, radical Islamic terrorists, there really isn't much to work toward. Not to mention the abomination that was ACA that was snuck through in the night with tons of lies (keep your plan, affordable (cough, cough), etc. People lost their plans and folks are paying 3-4 times more than they used to for health insurance. So again, stop comparing apples to oranges...President Obama's administration made no efforts to compromise or work together. President Trump's administration is actually trying (not to mention putting AMERICA FIRST, as the United States President should do)...if Democrats continue to obstruct, let them suffer the wrath come 2018, especially those up for reelection in red states. Should be enough where the Republicans won't even need the nuclear option as they'll pick up 10+ more seats.

It's pretty obvious why only Republican things get passed.

Democrats vote on the issue based on their individual beliefs, and this has discrepancies. Republicans vote like Lemmings and don't even bother reading the material. Because the Lemmings get 50% of the votes, more now even, the discrepancy in Democratic votes pushes them over the edge for anything in the world they ever want to pass. They literally skate through every policy they create, and do not use any forethought to gain high approval when they can just abuse the system and force things to pass. Democratic policy is on the other hand held to constant scrutinizing review.

Being a Republican is supposed to cater to majority rule right? That's what this means? Because that's the only way they've operated in 20 years. Winning by 6% and using it as ultimate authority. Such huge 'majority' victories driving their machine.

Yes, they can. Even a sitting President can change parties while in office. Abraham Lincoln left the Republican Party during his first term and did not run as a Republican in his 1864 reelection bid. He ran under the National Union Party. Prior to joining the newly formed Republican Party, he was a Whig. There are other prominent examples that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Ultimate authority? Please get out of here with that nonsense. Dems lose the Electoral College but win the Popular Vote so they introduce a bill to abolish the EC because they know that NYC and California will always have there back. Dems want the power centers to be held in the Cities where they control the masses and not the Flyover states as "Obama" called them. You're right in the fact that the majority is driving the Republican Machines though. The Silent Majority.

Funny that! During his campaign, Trump was against the Electoral College, stating it was a "Disaster for Democracy", until he won the Electoral College.
