Speech to text.

Real quick and I'll go into a logged in lurk mode.
(Been a long week for me).

I was at the doctors office, and they have a new Dictation Note on their computers. There were 2 screens, one for the doctor to see what he's speaking. And another screen for the patient to see.

So I was thinking, why not ad that feature to ATS.
I'm not sure if those with a Lap and or Tower computers, have a self Speech ach to text program.

Most Tablet and phones have these features.
But you can't transfer them over to ATS.
So why not update ATS with this.


Example.:

Speaking bla bla blaaaa(pause) press the period button... continue speaking pause tap repeat the question mark..

You got me curious so I logged on to ATS with my (old) IPhone and when I entered a "reply" box I was able to use the voice to text.

Damn, I cant do that on this device. That's golden that you did that on an older device

Are you sure you can't?
When you are on your phone, reply to someone and look for that little microphone thing.
Maybe it's a feature you have to turn on?

This Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 has it on google chrome and a personal "Notes" app built into the hard drive.

But this runs ATS with no alert and no speech to text.
Dang, I feel left out.😄

This device is not a phone.👍

I've used the voice text/speak on ATS a few times when i couldn't be bothered typing lol, works well and even using my older Moto G 4G mobile.

I use the same thing to browse from time to time. I've never seen a speech to text option, but to be fair I haven't really looked for one either.

Edit just looked on my phone it has the mic I guess it's just not a tablet feature.
