It's way more complex than that. What if you're parents came here illegally, got a job got married had kids, made a life. Not your fault...you don't pick where or to whom you're born, should that person be deported?

If your parent/parents break the law, it may not be your fault, but if convicted, it does not give them the right to say I have children, so you can't put me in jail. If a person comes here illegally, and they bring their children, then they should take their children when they return. If the children are born here, it doesn't change the fact that they are still their children. They placed their children in the unfortunate situation, and if they don't want to be separated from their children, they should be allowed to take their children back to their home country with them.

If you have laws you enforce them. If they were enforced, then you wouldn't have so many people coming here illegally.

Exactly right sir. I fail to understand the Lefts refusal to choose what Laws they want to follow and what Laws on the Books they have already to look the other way.

And if they are not being enforced people might get the idea that they are not that important. Wait, why are people acting shocked that they don't respect them?

And on the general topic of the thread, not everyone gets a shot at being legal let alone a citizen. That is why they may have been in the US for decades without becoming legal.

Solution is remove the auto citizenship of babies and deport criminals, and any immigrant who has property is seized and sold. It is something that took forever to get to where we are, and will take time to fix.

If TPTB want it fixed.

It didn't get to where it is on accident.

We are a country that is addicted to band-aids. We have to see the blood before we do anything. We keep throwing on band-aids until the hemorrhaging starts, then we want to go straight to cutting off the head.

Who is we?

99% of the people have nothing to do with actually putting policies in effect.

I agree it was by design.

And if it was in fact by design, why would the designers change their plan?

Designers no longer seem to be in control.

Now whether it will be fixed and whether it should be fixed are two different things.

That may be a huge part of the problem.

We just accept them, go along with them. Bitch about them, rebel, then rinse and repeat.

If you don't think Clinton was supposed to win we won't agree.

If you think Clinton or Trump was a legit choice then I'm sure we won't.
