Your point of view could be true, and probably is. But again, on the other hand, given the almost unimaginable time that has transpired from the
beginning, and the unimaginable size of the known and unknown universe, the opposite must be a possibility transitioning into the probable.
We, generally, are limited to a very small, and I mean, very small, window of observations we can make to learn about our own reality. And thankfully
our collective observations have been recorded so that others can "know" more, and "think" more than would otherwise be capable of, individually. But
even at that, that data base of knowledge and observations is far from perfection due to acts of ignorance and even vengeance in some cases. In the
end, all of us whether gifted with higher intelligence, or bogged down with brain damage, can only do the best we can, with what we have.
So, considering all the above, I'm willing to bet, we, are a species that can barely tie its own shoes, when it comes to technology. Imagine a
species, an intelligence that had a life span of lets say, 10,000, 100,000, or 100,000,000 years. To them and their discoveries, would we not be
completely laughable, in ours??
Could their be new upstarts sprinkled about the universe? In my mind, yes. And a fact, in my mind is, we are living proof of that, if only we could
comprehend it, for what we really are.
