Been wondering about this. Would it be possible to access internet from a distance to earth without human hardware?

Who knows? We don't even know if aliens know we exist.

Well if NASA can control a toy on Mars remotely I am sure advance aliens can tap into our www from far away.

I reckon if there are Aliens who can mind-read, they can channel themselves into our Internet and write without the need for an actual connection or keyboard. Something like what some Scientists and Tech experts are trying to do here already.

Your point of view could be true, and probably is. But again, on the other hand, given the almost unimaginable time that has transpired from the beginning, and the unimaginable size of the known and unknown universe, the opposite must be a possibility transitioning into the probable.

We, generally, are limited to a very small, and I mean, very small, window of observations we can make to learn about our own reality. And thankfully our collective observations have been recorded so that others can "know" more, and "think" more than would otherwise be capable of, individually. But even at that, that data base of knowledge and observations is far from perfection due to acts of ignorance and even vengeance in some cases. In the end, all of us whether gifted with higher intelligence, or bogged down with brain damage, can only do the best we can, with what we have.

So, considering all the above, I'm willing to bet, we, are a species that can barely tie its own shoes, when it comes to technology. Imagine a species, an intelligence that had a life span of lets say, 10,000, 100,000, or 100,000,000 years. To them and their discoveries, would we not be completely laughable, in ours??

Could their be new upstarts sprinkled about the universe? In my mind, yes. And a fact, in my mind is, we are living proof of that, if only we could comprehend it, for what we really are.

Regarding the connection between aliens and technology, you have to ask yourself: what television shows was the inventor of the television attempting to watch? The Flintstones?

Or perhaps the 2001 movie Kairo (Pulse)?

I think it's possible, but then big issue would be getting tech support on the line to assist in the configuration of their interstellar bio-router.
"can you try turning it on and off for 30 seconds"
"We're gonna have to send a tech out in the morning"

Their tendrils are made out of Cat 6 cables.

I thought that everyone knew this?

You think the beings of inner earth don't have a grasp of our technology? They're reading this thread right now laughing.

QaZBRRAGAGGAB "I think these human's are onto us".

Rragganbdaad "Damn does that mean we will have to pay for the long distance call".

Seriously yes they most certainly could but not from a distant planet, only if they could in real time interact with our network and if any of those UFO are real then there is a good bet they already are, they must have a very strange view of our species though considering all the weird porn on the net including Alien porn, probably carry tasers when ever they come down here as a consequence.

Might be worth some googling to see if there are any parallels between "I love Lucy" and "Demon seed".
Aliens might want a discreet hack-able machine interface.
