A bit of an oopsie.

The video shows ford landing on the taxi way at the airport instead of the runway. As well as flying over a commercial plane.

Out of curiosity. How much hot water is he in?

Can he get his license pulled because of this?

Probably not much. It's happened a LOT more than you think.

Harrison should move up here, they would not be complaining if he landed on a taxiway, We only have a few commercial airline flights up here anyway, the runway is not busy. Come up here Harrison, you can build your own landing strip, oh wait, there is snow here, you might need a plow truck to constantly keep the runway cleared. No problem, we have three months a year without snow.

They probably aren't going to let him fly anymore.

If they grounded pilots for this, airlines would lose a lot of pilots.

I'd imagine if its either been prearranged so its in the airports plan and the other pilot was waiting etc then no rules would I'd expect of been broken, but he's had a few flight clangers recently IIRC so perhaps its best for him to hand in the license and just pay someone else to do the job of taking him around.

Or he can move to florida.

There's a few communities up north where the HOA runs the airstrip. You can land and taxi your plane to your house.

He can be neighbors with Travolta.

With a STOL he'd have no problem. Just go out and pack the snow down with your snowshoes and your good to go!

Alaska Airlines in Seattle.

All avoided punishment.

Shhh. I want Harrison Ford to move here. I'd like to go have coffee with him, people would all be commenting he looks like someone famous. He would be out of context here, people would not even know it was him.

well the landing strip leads to the street.

you can drive your plane right to your house.

might not be an issue.

You are behind me in line, wait your turn. After he gets sick of the snow here, in one year, he will be happy to move to Florida and stay there permanently.

That reminds me of the day when I was taking flying lessons and we were going backwards in the Cessna I was flying. There was a high headwind and I asked the instructor how come we seemed to going backwards. He said we were. That was my first lesson, I learned a lot that first lesson, like never to rent the Cessna again, it was cold in there when it was ten below zero that day. Also, you had to wear headphones with a radio on them and microphone just to talk to the guy sitting next to you. It was ten bucks an hour more to rent the other plane and I didn't hit my head on the wing when getting in.

I agree. Living in the cold is silly. My petsonal theory is that if you cant feasibly live butt naked 24/7 365 without dieing from the elements. you as a species arent supposed nor meant to be really living there.

Personally i wouldnt mind living next door to ford but travolta would be a no go for me.

Wonder if hes named his cessna the millennium falcon or something.

"Flying over a commercial plane" is not illegal. It happens hundreds of times a day at any busy airport.

Video is lacking critical context.

He was coming in correctly, and spotted a ball of snakes on the runway.

He hates snakes.

We may have a lot of snow, but it keeps the snowflakes away.
