They obviously don't follow the words of their ubermensch.

"When they go low,
We go high."

You're dodging the issues when it comes to both Clarke and Melania Trump. Do you support Sherrif Clarke using official social media accounts of the Milwaukee Sherrif's department for statements like the ones I've pointed out to you?

You don't seem like the type who could honestly get behind that to me. Maybe I'm wrong?

What's even more bizarre is that the statements have been made after this lawsuit was filed:

The lawsuit says on January 15th, Dan Black was at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in Texas, where he boarded a flight headed to Milwaukee. While boarding, Black saw a man that looked like Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, wearing Dallas Cowboys gear. Black asked the man if he was Sheriff Clarke, and Clarke responded that he was. Black then moved towards the rear of the plane and shook his head. Sheriff Clarke then asked Black if he had a problem. Black shook his head no, and took a seat in the rear of the plane. The suit says there was no interaction between Black and Clarke during the flight.

When they landed in Milwaukee, the lawsuit says Clarke was in the waiting area by the gate, and he motioned to the six deputy sheriffs, who walked over to Black and stopped him. The lawsuit says two of the deputy sheriffs arrested Black, and he was escorted to an unoccupied waiting area, where he was "interrogated, and questioned about his political opinions for about 15 minutes" before he was escorted out of the airport.

That's an absolute abuse of power if it happened. In fact, in any other circumstances, we'd call that kidnapping and false imprisonment. His own statements certainly don't do anything to convince anyone that the man was lying about the encounter, do they?

As for Melania Trump. Which do you find less laudable? Trying to do something with school lunches to improve the health of American children OR lining up tens of millions of dollars in endorsements to exploit the position of First Lady for personal enrichment? Have any other First Ladies in the history of America used their position to become paid spokespersons for perfume, clothing, etc?

Which of those two sounds like she's trying to do something good for the American people?

We will have to let the courts sort that out. And if he is violating civil rights, he should be sued and jailed.

I do on the other hand like the statement about MichellE.

It maybe he is getting too big for his britches and pushing the limits, and finally went too far?

This based off her abject failure of a horrible idea of wanting kids to eat terrible food.

You mean terrible food like fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains?

Now they can bring back the good stuff like mystery meat and canned pudding with chemicals and trans fat in it. Yay.

When did David Clarke become the spokesmen for all of law enforcement?

Anyway, I couldn't care less what we has to say. He's a Right Wing nutter that happens to have a badge.

I mean garage cans full of things kids don't like.

My kids don't like raw tomatoes, tomato sauce they like.

My kids don't like chick peas-hummus is good though.

MichellE's food was a very lazy patch. If the first lady wanted kids to eat this stuff, she should have done a minutes worth of research.

If she would have, it would have been a success and not pissed away precious tax $$$ and thrown out of schools in 30 days after MichellE and her unvetted husband left office.

It seems like you are blaming Michelle for the bad decisions your kid's school made. The lunch guidelines were pretty broad, i.e., they weren't so specific as to say "you have to serve chick peas and not hummus." The guidelines focused on limiting saturated fat, sodium, sugar and eliminating foods with trans fats. The guidelines focused on requiring fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains. It was up to the school to make it taste good.

"Law enforcement hits her with an epic statement..." ???

Really? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA! Whew! That was a good one!

This one sheriff dude says something because he, like so many here at ATS, hates the Obamas, and it's "Law Enforcement?" That's just...wow.

I actually opened up the thread wondering if there was some huge scandal, that she had done something illegal and was now being pursued by "Law Enforcement."

I mean seriously folks. But this is just spreading hate.

You want to "heal this country" YOU need to take some responsibility yourself and back off of dividing it by continuing to spread this kind of crap. You are not doing the country or the new administration any favors by picking on Michelle Obama.

Besides, I thought male Trump supporters liked their women being "in the kitchen." Now you are complaining that Michelle Obama WAS IN THE KITCHEN?!?

She was *gasp* promoting nutrition for children like A 1950's MOM! I mean, here she is claiming to be an uppity liberal, when she was just being the LUNCH LADY OF THE UNITED STATES and all you guys can do is rag on her. Awesome.

Women can't win, I guess. Or liberal women, that is, in a right wing "man's" world. Something as "women's work" as caring about children's ability to get nutritious food so their brains work better at school is spit upon by people... And here I thought that's what all mom's generally want for their kids, healthy food and smarter brains. Or is that just a "liberal" thing??

Why would ANYONE want the school system to provide prison-quality crap to their kids in the form of "school lunches" devoid of nutrition and that increase health risks and obesity? Do you WANT that? That's a GOOD thing? Holy crap.

I guess you do??? Huh.

So the bottom line is, and this is abundantly clear, there is nothing in the world that Michelle Obama could have done without being criticized by the right.

Those guide lines are like saying you can have any car-
well it has to get over 43 MPG,
Oh it has to be hibred,
oh it has to be under 3,400 pounds curb weight.

But any car you want.

Hate is your word, and how liberals think that when someone disagrees with them, ,they must hate me.... Nope I just disagree.

So you should take a breath, and think before you make such wide brush strokes.

Well I was very proud of my country when Obama won. I did not expect to see it in my lifetime. I am also glad that our security forces prevented him from being assassinated as has been the fate of several presidents.

I am glad that the "Good old boys" did not burn any Crosses in the whitehouse .

"Law enforcement" = 1 person.

Thats kinda...oh I dunno... a fake newsy type claim maybe, made by someone who has been chastising fake news.

Shouldn't it read "A single ex-cop tries to make a political statement about the ex-presidents wife"

Or would that be too factual in your post fact world?
