President Trump has named Lt. General (that's with 3 stars) H.R. McMaster as National Security Adviser.

He is 54 years old and is an Army General.

Trump Names Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster as New National Security Adviser

President Donald Trump on Monday named Army Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster as his national security adviser, a week after Michael Flynn resigned from the post.

During a news conference at his Florida resort, Trump said that McMaster was "highly respected by everybody in the military" and is "a man of tremendous talent and tremendous experience."

Flynn resigned last Monday amid allegations that he misled Vice President Mike Pence and other senior officials about his communications with Sergey Kislyak, Russia's ambassador to the United States.

He is highly decorated and has a PhD from NC's Chapel Hill. Maybe he's the right guy for the job.

How long is his head? Geez, the still for the video at the link makes him look like some kind of xenomorph hybrid.

I just hope he doesn't spit acid or eat anybody. Seriously though, hope he can do the job without screwing it up or taking a dive for anybody.

Seems qualified. Let's just hope he doesn't put party over country.
